What is wrong with these unprepared set of slow thinking leaders of my party?
Should this be just coming out for public consumption?
This is a confirmation of my thoughts about our party leaders ; unpreparedness and few serious minded individuals

Gone are the days when political appointments were based on mediocrity (compensation for loyalty and federal character poo). Now is the time to get it right. I believe in this government considering the no nonsense personalities at the helm of affairs. Even if it will take us 4years to get the best Ministers for the job...we are not in a hurry. Ride on sir.

Which rubbish stupid stellar idea is he talking about.

Federal character and quota system are embedded in our constitution and PMB and his VP must make sure they adhere to it by appointing qualified people from all Zones.

With this ridiculous idea they will now field a lot of people from about 2 zones claiming they are the most qualified as if other zones cannot have qualified people for the post or ministerial job.

After fielding people based on zoning and winning the elections, they want to jettison zoning as if Buhari was the most qualified person without zoning the presidency to the North within their party.

My point is until we do the right thing which is practice true federalism or regionalism we will continue to try to be smart by half. What they are proposing will only cause more disaffection in the country if any zone is marginalised further.

I don't want to believe what was written about the restructuring of NNPC and the speculations of appointments thare but its what might happen here too.

Even if there are no federal character requirements of the constitution (which was actually for the benefit of the North) the only time they will accept merits is when they have their own people who may be qualified (as in the North)

If we had apply merit, Buhari is one of the least qualified. Buhari is a pre-analogue phone in smartphone era.

We are waiting for their merit' s based candidates.

And why is he telling Nigerians? ..... They better appoint ministers quickly to avoid these policy blunders they've been committing since May 29th. How can any sane man lift the ban on import of furniture and textile while you are still trying to grow local capacity for those sectors?

Osibanjo is like a visiting Professor to a University in the middle of the desert, where u have green fields / grasses, he doesn't quite understand how or why it's that way, but will go around boasting to his peers that grasses actually can grow in the desert naturally.

What I continue to think is that the Ministerial list is North tilted. So explanations are going on, on why only Northern Nigerian men and women are the only competent Nigerians that can be saddled with the responsibility of governance. We are deeply divided as a country and so I believe in Federal character. Please dear PMB and VP if indeed you guys are looking for competent men and women, they are available in all sections of the country. Competency is not an exclusive preserve of the North.
