Good evening mamas. Please apart from eating well to improve breastmilk, is there any drug I can take (maybe supplement or cod liver oil)?. I was given ferobin plus after I put to bed. I'm asking because sometimes I find it hard to eat cos of lack of appetite. Thanks.

Was he given Vitamin D alongside the Calcium? Cos the main reason these bone malformations happen is because of lack of Vit D to help absorb the Calcium. That's why Cod Liver Oil is very good in toddlers.

But in this your case, I would adviae you go ahead with seeing the Ortho Doctor. Pls dont listen to anyone saying it will straighten on its own at this age. Get a professional to look at things cos it just might not turn out like yours did.

If you can starta fresh course of antibiotics, after doing a sensitivity test and blocking the ears while bathing, there is a chance that might just work.

No he wasn't given vit D,d pead only said I shld let him play in morning sun nd gv him milk.he takes complan nd peak 123.I jst recently started givin him cod liver oil.thanks

Are you a joker? 1 mth old baby sleep through the night?

Number 1- Their tummies cant hold enough food that will last them through the night. So they will definitely wake up.

Number 2 - They dont have established sleep cycles yet.

Your mum did the same for you too. That is why mothers are advised to sleep when baby sleeps. It's just 1 month, and you are already complaining. You sef wont want your less than 3 month old to sleep through the night, cos it's not normal.

Pele! That's motherhood for you. Guess you are a first time mum.

Yea...morning sun gives Vit D. But you will have to expose his body and let him spend a long time in the sun, for him to get the adequate amount. That's why giving him Vit D in a medicinal form is much easier. Cod Liver Oil is very good. Combine that with the playing in the sun....then see the Ortho also.

Buy Pregnacare Breastfeeding. It will patch up the low nutrient intake due to your lack of appetite.

I'm pretty sure the paed would have taken a look into the inner ear with that instrument with a torch on it. If there was any object there, he would have seen it.

am FTM, i dont really mean she should sleep all thru d night. She usually wakes up at least 4-5 times and she falls back asleep as soon as i breastfeed her. I just dont like dis long break of no sleep at all

Eh ya! Pele. What you can do is be less active at night, and more active during the day. Sooner or Later, her brain is going to notice the difference and adjust.

Buy pregnacare breastfeeding or pregnacare new mum, they are all post natal suplements. Pregnacare breastfeeding is #3200 and pregnacare new mum is 2500 here in Onitsha. I am personally using pregnacare breastfeeding.

Then you have to adjust her cycle as I said earlier.

Babies sleep longer when they are being held. During my time, what I did was express bm, and feed baby from a bottle. My son always ate more from the bottle...which in turn, knocks him out. That method, coupled with switching activity level, helped adjust him.

Sorry mama.dnt worry its a phase that would soon pass. What help me was I had a schedule for my LO which I followed consistently till now.he takes his night bath if d weather is hot by 9.30pm and we finish up by 10pm.I take him to d room straight and turn off all d lights.I only leave a dim torch light on.no form of noise, no singing. He will settle to sleep by himself. Now he is 4months +..immediately its 9.30pm my boy gets crnky.its time to sleep be that!I tuck him in and he sleeps off on his own. But once he is still whr there is noise by that time, he won't sleep o! And he will be cranky. I used it to teach him d difference btwn day nd night. Dnt worry u will b fine. Just start teaching her wht u want her to get used to from now

Yay!!!! A problem shared is a problem half-solved. That's why I love forums like this. Just continue blocking water from entering his ears even after you finish the antibiotics....say for abt a week after.

Well...I gave them the Rotavirus vaccine. However, the Rotavirus illness is common in children above 1, not younger....and that's because children above 1 already relate with other kids, eat more adult food, eat at parties etc. So I dont think it's the rotavirus vaccine that helped them...my bestie's kids also didn't have issues with teething....and they didnt take the rotavirus vaccine.

Alright ma'am,it's well with us all

My DS does the same, and he is 2months too, all this while, I av been thinking he only dips his finger in his mouth cos he is trying tto suck his finger. I ddontt think it has to do wt teething, cos that will be ttooo too early now. That's my tot anyway. Experienced mamas can tell us which is which.

Thanks mama
