My believe is that Adam was the first man but not the only man God created during creation (it wasn't stated in the bible) and since the bible followed a lineage, the other men God probably created were not mentioned. This might be so because I did reason how possible it was to cross continents during that time (Egypt was existing already as a civilized empire). So, was Adam the first man? YES! but the bible didn't tell us he was the only man God created..........I still wonder how Asians (chinese, koreans, japanese etc) got that particular look from Adam (who was Arabic kinda looking) and Africans getting the domineering black pigmented color from him aswell....lol

The Big question is " How did Man come into existence"?. The many religions we have today and those of the old gods possesses different beliefs on how Man came into being.

As a Christian, i learnt through the bible how Man came into life and I don't have to share it because I believe everyone knows that including non Christians because am not here to quote the Bible as am not that religious.

The generally known belief on how man came into the world is best explained through academia which states the evolution of man proposes that humans and apes derive from an apelike ancestor that lived on earth a few million years ago. The theory states that man, through a combination of environmental and genetic factors, emerged as a species to produce the variety of ethnicities seen today, while modern apes evolved on a separate evolutionary
pathway.

My BIG question is, which should we believe and if Truly Adam came 1st from God, how then did he populate the world to what it is right now?.
bro, Gen 1: 28 says it all. It says God blesses adam and eve and said: "be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it......"

I know that what I quoted caught you heavily. If christians do not quote from the Scriptures, where will they base their belief?

There is no need replying you any longer b/c you can't believe in God who is unseen and push His word aside, in that you want facts before you believe Him. Jesus said Blessed are they that have not seen, yet believe, and you wrote that you will see facts before you believe God, yet a christian. Who is deceiving who, here? I doubt if you are a christian or a free-thinker.

I believe in the scientific explantion on the evolution of man because it provides acuurate details and explanation on how Man came into being.

The Christian point of view is base on beliefs, no true facts recorded and besides fossils of the early Man are still being dug out by archaeologist.

Ask youself this one question, what is the proof that Adam was indeed the 1st man on earth?.

And what is the proof that man evolves from Apes?... this is how madness start.. stop trying to find out God's work brother. you cant see it!

Exactly, Most Christians are clueless. They believe in the bible they know little about.
in the beginning was d word, and d word was with God, and the word was God....and the word was made flesh, and dwelt amongst us.. The world knew him not...

Nw bak to ur comment.... If u originated from an ape, den why do u reason like a human being? U should reason like an ape as well..

if you didn't disput the fact that God is real, then, why did you disput God's word that he created Adam and Eve as the first man and woman on earth?

It was just a theory of evolution... The theory means an idea or opinion that someone thinks is true but for which they have no proof... So it was just a theory made by darwin and he got no proves to proof it... Many scientists in the world today don't take his theory as Fact coz he gat no proofs... So Believe God's word to be true' anything said by God in any of his scriptures are facts or theory made by humans... hope that answer your question.

Populating the world shouldn't be a problem...cos, accordin to the story, he gave birth to several twins. you family also started from somewhere, wic i blieve would have really evolved @ dis present stage...the only tin dat baffles me is the total difference in skin colour (race) and language....i guess the only tin i use, to compensate myself is dat, it's God's miracle. #chikena

2. If you know of any man that came before Adam, p/s tell us.
3. If man originated from ape, why has man not evolved to a higher form or has evolution stopped?
4. Why was Eve given to Adam, and what is the meaning of 'be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it' commanded by God to Adam and Eve? (Gen.1:28)

That bible sef who wrote it? I'm a christian who has stopped reading d bible cos that book is very contradictory n full of errors.

Get the 1-year Bible Reading Plan today and start searching the Scriptures. I assure you that this time next year, you will pray to God for forgiveness, for ever asking this kind of question.

Guy there are many questions to be asked.
If we say God knows everything then why did he then create wat will be a distraction for Adam and Eve wen he don't want them to touch them. Adam and Eve gave birth to Cain and Abel and Cain killed Abel, then which city of Nin did Cain see his wife and who gave birth to the girl? Let's just be morally good and allow religion to flow on its own. Religion is slavery using a name God to cause confusion. Islam preaches Peace, Christianity preaches Peace too but the fanatics of both religions do otherwise cos they feel we are different. Why?

Let me try and make things a little clearer, man Adam wasn't exactly the first "BEING" on earth. There were other forms of beings that existed but where not exactly in the image and likeness of God. This was why God rejected them and make Adam in his image.

Lols No point giving you an answer then. You have already make up your mind on what you want to believe giving you an answer and expecting you to believe otherwise is like throwing the cutlass vertically upward and expecting it to come down with its tip to the ground.

Whether you believe or not that doesnot stop/limit the supremacy of God! You only succeed in endangering your own soul.
