First off, I am not Igbo . I need to make that abundantly very clear.

Being from Delta state and not from the Igbo extraction, I find it hard still why Biafra will be causing so much sleepless nights for the Odua people. From what I can deduce from the Biafra aggigtation are a people who are considered third tier citizens in a nation they have been forced to remain in. The Igbo States do not contribute much oil revenue to your central purse and you people in the SW and north have come to see the igbos as parasites who have come to invade your lands. Why then will the aggigtation of a separate state for a people you hate cause too much headache to you?

The plight of Igbos in Lagos has suffered more in the past 8yrs under an ethnic champion like Fashola than they did in the build up to the civil war. If truly you want Igbos out of the SW and north and want them confined to their "erosion clad " lands then logic has it that you won't be opposed to any form of seccesionist plans by the Igbos. You guys have openly stated that the Igbo land has nothing by way to offer the national treasury so this will make their exit from Nigeria insignificant to the treasury of the federal govt.

But this is not why I made this thread, I made this thread to point out the obvious bias by nairaland mods who openly promote anti Biafran thread and also anti Igbo sentiments ( the latter a clear violation of nairaland rule 2) with no sanction metted erring posters.


Being from the Niger Delta I have also witnessed how the genuine aggigtation for resource control by my people who were forced to take up a militant approach after all their considerations where ignored by the central govt, is continually being reduced to that of criminality and most mind boggling is how Boko Haram lunacy is not condemned in its quest rather in its adopted approach. What this translates to me is that the SW sees Boko Haram "grieviances" (if you want to use that term" towards returning Nigeria to a 7th century arabic medieval state as genuine while those of the Niger Delta as criminal.

Obviously this is typical Yoruba hypocrisy and stupidity and with the way Goodluck was attacked first on his ethnicity and reduced to a false stereotype by Tinubu to a "drunken fisherman' it goes to show that you people in the ever "ITK" southwest think very low of us in the Niger Delta. This is inspite of the fact that our region has floated your existence and continues to record their prescence in every productive enterprise and venture.
