Nigeria courts! I wonder why cases like this get accelerated hearing whereas corruption cases take donkey Years to get judgment.

These governors won't change. Just few days ago gov Lalong of plateau also sacked all local govt chairmen.

Until there is autonomy for the third tier of govt, where Inec at the local govt level conducts election, our local govts will keep experiencing devt at a slow pace
plz take note, Wike did not get all the council bosses. The federal high court NULLIFIED their elections in the ground of illegality. So don't it with that of Gov. Lalong who authocratically sacked elected council bosses. PDP has respect for rule of law.

They really needed to be sacked.

They are just there doing nothing but chanting change change,
Now River state is free indeed.

But what of the remaining local government chairman office?
Is it missing or did the fellow pay a respect to the governor?
