Congrats to Everyone..Hello funkystanl. Whats the criteria for posting into various LOS? Does HR considers qualifications (ICAN, ACCA, CFA etc) or previous work experience! Whats the likelihood of someone with about a year in Investment banking getting posted to Corporate Finance (Advisory). Your explanations will be highly appreciated!
juicebox:

@funkystanl, can someone with few years banking experience like ednut1 be posted to Assurance energy unit? grin

Juicebox and deepysandra, no one can categorically state what determines the LoS or. Business unit you'll be posted to. It depends on so many factors... And it's not solely the HR that decides:
-Your interview (attitude, things you said, your unit preference)
-LoS/BU needs (if EUM wants just 5 applicants.... Even if there are 20 over-qualified engineers with ACCA it's only 5 of them that will be posted to Energy Utilities and Mining Unit under assurance)
-Academic qualification

All these and "other things" only the HR or top management know determine your posting. Its something that is hardly influenced by anyone (well I wouldn't know if your parents are partners in PwC) .

Like I also stated earlier, you guys would be allowed to swap if you don't like your posting... Note the word "swap" not change.

I am for October. Funny enough, I was reading up certain pages of this extraordinary journey of ours. It's been an interesting ride, bro. Once again, congrats to us all!

When was this call made? Cos I heard the HR lady say it can be done this way and she was clear on that
Re: PWC Nigeria Graduate Recruitment 2015 by phetty(m): 9:00pm On Jul 10, 2015

Though, I feel very bad BA, Abdulslutsky and Boobookitty didn't make it, I wish them and everyone else I was secretly rooting for and others (too numerous to categorize) that were part of the struggle, the very best in their future endeavours.

PS: I hope Xtrasmooth 404, Hakintayor, ENGRPERFECT, mechbeejay and Phetty made it.
Bloody hell, many monikers come to mind!

After a long cyber-leave...decided to resume to my most visited Nigeria blog.

I felicitate with the successful friends. I wish you a wonderful career with PwC.

As for me, I got a regret mail. No regret! PwC just wanted me to continue my career in Engineering because I got a job in late May.

My journey in PwC career pursuit has been my best. I met with wonderful and intelligent gents and ladies in the course, both physically and online. Networking starts from somewhere, somehow, I believe.

I wish to see y'all becoming professional years to come.
