Of course the filling stations have been involved in the shady deal. But you cannot solve the problems by going after the filling stations without solving it from the root, the depots who sell at higher prices to them. It easier for filling stations to sell @ even N120 if they can prove that they but at even slightly higher than govt regulated price like N80 instead of N77.

You should know that there are other depot operators that would be happy to see those ones closed, thereby giving them control in the market. In an open market economy where there are options a clamp down on one company is advantageous to competitors. Nigeria is getting to that level.

Imagine the response of Glo, Airtel and Etisalat if MTN losses its license for just 7 days! That's the level the oil sector will get to soon.
