Pls, dont misquote him. This particular thread is for post graduate. There's another thread for undergraduate.

You are sounding as if it isonly an Msc degree prog that is being offered. I read Med in Noun and I graduated in 2014. Pls kindly do the needful mod for this beautiful thread.

Can student with old admission letter still register.?I misplaced the copy of bank teller used for payment
NOUN is flexible. You can still proceed to do your screening and register your courses for the appropriate semester but you'll need to sort that misplaced bank teller issue first. Proceed to the study centre you chose and sort yourself out.

This is a nice one. But can you please tell me the school fee range for a new student for accounting. Is it paid in full or per semester. Thanks for your kind assistance.
The tuition fees + course registration+exam registration is paid per semester and ranges from 60k to 82k depending on the academic programme you are running.

Tuition fee+Course registration fee can be paid first while exam registration fee can be paid later on. This further breaks down your payment into instalments which is convenient for some who might not have the total money in bulk.

Pls I just got admitted for PGD business administration, am based in abuja. i would need some orientation,i would also appreciate info on how to get pass questions since exams are approaching ng soon. kindly get back to me
Have you been screened? Have the ICT people developped a username and password for you to enable access to your portal? As for the past questions, you need to find fellow PGD Business Administration scholars like you and interact with them. Don't stay alone or else you might miss important info. I'm also based in abuja by the way.

Moderators, please hide the unnecessary adverts. It's distracting folks from the main purpose of the thread. This thread has been up since January, no adverts oo but as soon as it made frontpage they start publishing their silly adverts.

For those in the health sciences(e.g Nursing) NOUN organises certain periods for practicals for them, meanwhile only Msc programme in the Sciences I am aware of is Info Tech where you will come to face programming and scripting language. All of the research and work will be done by you on your laptop. No one is going to breastfeed you practicals a.k.a programming/scripting in an Msc programme. Get to the study center for more info.

Open University is flexible. You study at your pace and do your exam at your pace. The process in OPEN UNIVERSITY is self-study or self-tutor by the guidance of your course material which is very self explanatory.

With a B.Eng in Electrical you are good to go! Good luck in your choice!

Minimum of 2,2.

Yeah, it recognised. I, for one, work in a corporate organisation. In my firm, presenting your MSc cert from any school simply gives you the chance to be measured alongside other people with MSc but your recognition depends on how you prove yourself afterwards.

For you to pass in NOUN, you must read cause the school has no means of exam malpractice or paper sorting. I believe if you eventually do well, you'd be able to represent well out there.

Having said that, I'd also like to pre-inform you that you'd meet a lot of people who would tell you the cert is not recognised. This category of people are skeptical cause it's not what we are used to and we're always allergic to change. Check out, such people are not in managerial positions. The school is trying to run things the western way and has become the choice for busy workers. It is presently the 15th best in Nigeria which rates it better than some conventional universities like UNICAL, FUTO etc.

It's all about determination and focus.
Whoever rated NouN above FUTO is day dreaming............

U are right in ur calculation of d expenses but exam registration / course fee should be included.

Though, don't be surprised, depending on ur course, some study Materials both in print & softcopy are not available as at 2013. Still, even if u complain, they will ignore u & expect u to right d exam becos it might b a compulsory course. So shine ur eye
