I heard even teething can change a baby's sleep pattern even though its a too early in ur case. Your LO might just be seeking more attention from u. Good evening dear people. Thank you so much @ifefunmi, i was at hamkad yesterday, i was able to make my findings and register my baby there so will use there for her from now for her medicals and immunisations its way cheaper than the hospital i was using before.
Pls dear mothers, i want to introduce formula to my baby soon pls what are the things i should look out for in a good formula product. Also is it normal to still be having lil postpartum spotting after 7 weeks i'm getting scared its taking too long. Thanks people

Hi dear, I guess that should be enough since u still breastfeed and i guess he sucks well. As regards d formula with cereal, it depends on the quantity he eats. My son has very large apetite. He eats every 3:30mins - 4hrs thus eats 4 times daily cos he sleeps through the night. at every cereal meal i use 8-9 scoops of milk but its Aptamil formula which has very small spoon.

I use aptamil too. That 8-9 scoops is to how much of cereal pls. My baby eats around 180-210ml of cereal. Tot d milk will be too much

Dunno if it has anything to do with d milk but my baby rejected bottle, cup and spoon initially too, but gradually he collected it

I am going thru this at the moment sef, but there was progress today, (thank God cos I am resuming on monday). I had to change my bottle to tommie tippie and SMA gold to aptamil. Baboes are different so I can't state that this might work for u as well. Furthermore, I don't think introducing something new to baby should be done wen the baby is very hungry, that would just make the baby scream more.just try wen the baby is not to hungry and not full either. My dear, I didn't say water should replace food oo; pls hear me well. Once a baby starts solids, the baby has to drink lots of water to avoid constipation and juice should not take the place of water. They are prone to constipation during that change-over period. #nuffsaid

true @kimoni. mothers pls understand that these kids go thirsty too. pls dnt keep ur babies thirsty in d name of water intoxication abeg. once they r on anything apart frm breastmilk pls gv water. my baby takes water and I satisfy him. he prefers it from a cup. and whn he's had enuf he will take his mouth away. teavh ur kids wht u want them to grow up with frm now. ur baby will tell u wat he wants if u r patient enuf to observe. no hard nd fast rules on how to treat children. all children are different.

pls b patient with ur lo. he will come to adapt with tine. dnt forget he is used to breast milk alone. so take it easy. im sure he will collect it over time. slowly buh surely. dnt forget the rule of consistency! make little quantity at a time so u dnt end up wasting.

Am so happy my baby now collect his cereal with spoon to the extent that he opens his mouth by himself whenever the spoon is closeby. Madam kimoni,you encouraged me to be very patient when feeding him that he will later adjust, which i did, am vry grateful. I love this family.

growth in d anus can b caused by a lot of things. Alot of ppl will tell u she has pile..y dont you take her to the hospital to remove all speculations.u are d one with her and u r d one that knows wht u r seeing. we here can only assume. kindly do d proper thing. take her to a pediatrician. thank u

Sis pls stop d banana asap. I was introduced to a diet when my baby was stooling (BRAT) its banana,rice,apple sauce and toast(bread). Its meant to firm up d poop which it did. If a baby is constipated those 4 food will only aggravate d situation.
Give him more water (but don't go overboard with the water pls) and breastmilk, he'll poop, prune juice is great too.

dnt dilute the orange juice. squeeze half of it and give him first thing in d mornings. u can puy small warm water to make it a bit warm. it works. my boy was constipated yesterday, I squeeze the juice of a whole orange nd he took it. he pooped immediately and he was fine. meanwhile I gv my boy orange everyday. whn he is constipated, I gv first thing in d morning. and he takes warm water in d morning. its a routine. he wont take anythingbuntil he takes his water. he is six months plus. so pls encourage him to take water.

The orange juice will not suffice. He needs to drink water by all means. Try sipping cups, bottles, spoons or directly from a cup. My son prefers to drink water from the cup like an adult. Some babies prefer spoon . He just has to drink a lot of water once he starts solids.

Please mothers, I have a little problem oo.

my br.east has been so engorged of late that it hurts, even when I feed my LO with both br.easts, after 30-40minutes, it's filled up again and it hurts especially when I bend down. it causes headache as well. My baby eats quite well so it's not that am not feeding her well. she's 6months plus.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
