Even in Ibadan here they hardly take power again. We have not less than 22 hours of uninterrupted power supply at Academy area of Odo-Ona Elewe. It is now more steady more than ever, just like in the 70s.

No it's GMB and his "body language" with zero plan for the power sector.

He is referring to the GEJ that built the additional power stations, upgraded and expanded the transmission grid, built those additional distribution substations, oversaw the massive distribution and installation mom step down transformers, and eliminated govt inefficiency & monopoly by unbundled & privatising PHCN + outsourcing mgt of TCN to a reputable Canadian firm. THAT GEJ.
Story for the gods.
And above all saw to it that there was no light at the end of the day. Fact - power supply improved from June 2015. PMB tenure started from May 29, 2015.
Hahahahaha! cheesy cheesy

you guys said it yourselves: He has no certificates, let alone Master's Degree so what business does he have with a Masterplan.

He's a simple man with a simple plan for the Power Sector which is to Catch the thieves who bought PHCH from the master thief JONATHAN.
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

"He has a simple plan to blah blah blah". Enough of the talk already. All talk, ZERO ACTION. What's stopping him from going after the so called " thieves"? Dolts like you seem to have forgotten that same privatization is one of the major factors that has contributed to the successes in the power sector. Then again, I'm not suprised.

FACT: Power had already improved long before GMB took over. It had peaked at almost 5000MW while Nnaji was at the helm of affairs at the Federal Ministry of Power and a number of states had already begun to enjoy @ least 15hrs of power supply (Taraba, Gombe, Adamawa close to 24hrs of power supply). All these happened before sabotage of the gas lines brought down generated power to a bit of 2300MW. What you currently experience is a continuation of that feat. But I guess you didn't know that.

Then again I'm not suprised. You're scared your beloved Daura President has absolutely nothing to offer (which is true) so the one thing you do is try to allot the feat of the previous administration to this joke called the GMB administration. Sorry matey, that shyte won't fly. "Body language" indeed grin grin

well imps like you also fail to realize that crooks actually bought up the defunct PHCN for peanuts.
Since the sale of PHCN, how many times has the tarrif been hiked? Or the controversial maintenance charge which skyrocketed from 250 to 750. Or the fixed charges that's just there to enrich these so called crooks??

Have you ever thought for a sec why the power situation was so pathetic in the country? Let me give you a simpler and clearer perspective.

DISCOs don't have to distribute or supply energy to the consumers to get paid. All they need do is send out absurd utility bills and lay emphasis on their FIXED CHARGES and MAINTENANCE CHARGES. For instance, 10Million Nigerians multiplied by N750 gives you N7.5Billion in a month. Increase the number of consumers and the profit increases exponentially for zero service delivery

That my friend is the reason why we've been at 2346MegaWatts all through GEJs tospy with naija.

D foolish politicians ther who r supposed to interface with d power holders r another pathetic lot that should cover their faces in shame.

yes you're right this problem started way back since 2009 with no solution in sight. The most annoying part is the fact that Badagry is the seat of the only paramount king in badagry and environs yet it seems even that cannot help

That's why we had 2346MW? Clap for yourself, 'cos you just earned the DUMBASS post of the day! Why? Cos if you had done your homework, you would've known that DISCOs are NOT responsible for power generation. Also you would've known that the fall in generated was as a result of sabotage on the gas supply lines. But hey, I ain't suprised at all. Now you know why you've been having issues with your WAEC and NECO, bumwipe. Your 7th-8th resit I guess? Don't worry, it isn't cos of some old woman in your village. Nah, you're simply stupid.

By the way I never knew that the past issues with power supply was tied to your utility bills. Sure we could do with reduced bills, but you're aware that these DISCOs are now private businesses who have to recoup their investments, right? You do know the sole purpose of businesses is to maximize the profit of their respective shareholders, right? No? Of course you didn't. 'just a plain stupid airhead. Now run along turd.

Power Outage in Closes Satellite Town Lagos... Very Poor Power supply. We've not had power supply since Saturday making it 3days now we had power last in the area... Will appreciate if anyone can help me with telephone numbers so i can complain. The bill also is on the high side. Eko distribution company billed 15k for the month of July a 2bedroom apartment. This is highly unfair and knowing the fact that we dont even have the power we still get crazy bills of sort.

I strongly suggest you read your post again. SLOWLY. Let it sink in a bit......then you'll fully understand that what you've just post is PURE GARBAGE. You want to compare the relationship BTW you & your kids (that's if you have any cos of your level of stupidity) with GMB & the power sector. So GMB, without even a single fvcking policy on power, was able to transform the power sector in 60 DAYS from thin air, using his " body language "......you now see why that GARBAGE of yours defies simple logic. But hey, here's an award for you, airhead. Well deserved.
what he is trying to say is that everybody knows nowstealing is now corruption so those Oga at d top have sit up and do d right thing. Yes, gej did d reform but you will agree with me that if he is currently d president, ogas at d top would still be oppressing us afterall "stealing isn't corruption"
