i have been received those messages too telling me to visit any nearest mtn office to register my line which I hv done for so long. and a friend told me i did do so the fucking mtn will block my line

Illegally pre-registered indeed! Got my line 07, registered in 2010 myself...between then and now, I have retrieved my line twice at their official outlets/offices. So, they should give another reason and not that bullocks!

I registered my SIM appropriately and have been using this line since 2005 and MTN keeps sending silly messages that I should reregister. I went there. E bi like people wey dey wait for BVN or stomach infrastructure. I just left.

Let them ban the lines. Nah them go count their losses after just one week.

Point is: I don't see why people are complaining, it's a good thing to have properly registered sims - otherwise people just buy sims and mess up other people's lives and can't be traced if sims are not properly registered.

NONSENSE wat do they mean by illegal registration of sim..i did register myne legally with my full details...last two week dem bombed me with text messages to go re register...i reached their office...center...i was bounced back because i did not come with my ID...i went home n bring it..i re registered n they told me my picture was not clear from the first one i did that why they sent me d text...so i did my registration n a conformation text was sent....can i imagine....four days ago anoda text was sent that i should come again dat my picture is not well captured...i vex go there see crowddd.....na so dem take my number rectify am...omo if to say i carry gun....na spraying o
