This vehicle looks rather like the victim of an impact and not the guilty party as was reported

Notice the front of the vehicle has no visible dent which should have been present if it was the aggressor.

[b]That's one way to look at it my dear Watson.

Yet, another way to look at it is, if you beat the red light at a T-junction, you could get T-boned and tipped over depending on your inertia/unwillingness to slow down.

A review of the scene of the incident, taking into consideration - the trajectory of vehicles involved, location of impact, debris from crash and of course eye-witness account. Not forgetting testimony of the victims of the crash, landscape/relief, timing of the incident and various other factors that could help reach your conclusion without being predisposed to any bias.

A picture of a tipped over vehicle cannot be conclusive.

It could have been doctored, created to play the victim and should certainly not be taken in isolation, as the state of other vehicles, injury to the occupants should be consistent with the scene.

So, we can try to play detective with a single picture but like the 6 blind men from Indostan, the Elephant could be anything but a large Mammal often caricatured to have a phobia for mice.

Some articles held that he was driving a BMW.
Besides, this vehicle looks like a victim and not an aggressor!

The guy beat the traffic light so the oncoming vehicle ran into him.

Tho the centre of Gravity of this car, is quite high, but being a G63 it must have been tipped off by a heavier vehicle otherwise tis inconclusive.

Tho the centre of Gravity of this car, is quite high, but being a G63 which is highly stable on road, it must have been tipped off by a heavier vehicle with a lower C.G otherwise tis inconclusive.

bear in mind this is an armored version and you know it's extremely difficult for a G wagon to be overturned in the first place. What actually got me curious she I saw the pics yesterday was the initial statement from the U.S. embassy which claimed Akpabio's vehicle hit their own. Now if I should hit your car while driving on the road normally, I expect the damage on my car to be at the front and not the passenger side. Some people on twitter based in Abuja even said the traffic light on that Bolingo junction isn't functional so Akpabio couldn't have run a red light (I don't know how true it is) and strangely enough, the FRSC says it's setting up a "committee" to investigate the accident

No shortage of 'some people' to try to distort facts.

Between diplomatic convoys and politician convoys, we know which one historically has a penchant for overspeeding and flaunting traffic laws

I know that junction very well like my father's farm. The traffic light is fully and always functional. This picture truly confirms what I had in mind. Akpabio's car tried to beat the red light and it got hit by the side.
