biology, by an astronomical mile, is the easiest science subject cos all the students don't consider it an abstract subject. even a kid of 5 can relate with the topics cos you see those things day to day.

you cannot compare it to math. how difficult are the math subjects that medical students take? they do the fake math courses in uni. engineering students do MTH 101, medical students do MTH 105 & its variants.

their physics is also different from the ones engineering students do in the first year. there's a reason you would find more females in medicine than engineering, it's because most females cannot cope with the rigours attached to math!

While when it comes to things more cavalier, cracking equations. Use an equation to resolve a giant problem. Thats sounds like the type of things men would want to get involved

Thirdly, it's well known women are enrolling in university in greater numbers than men - still the TEM representation is proving a difficult nut to crack. Out of 100head boys and girls, about 85 would aspire to study either LAW or MBBS.
An Engineering student doesn't need to score up to Nursing cutoff mark to get admitted which is beneath Pharmacy and Dentistry toppled by Medicine and Surgery.
There are countless stories of undergraduates that ran away from Medical school because they couldn't cope and are currently doing Engineering courses.
I'll easily solve mathematics questions without opening my book, infact I perform better in Chemistry and Physics.
A1 is rare in Biology compared to Mathematics.
Medical students write 4 M.B Exams, if one fail any courses, they'd be removed from Medical school.
Do you have any idea how many muscles are in the body nd their origin, insertions, blood and nerve supply, functions.
Do you know a Medical student must know all of histology, neuroscience, neuroanatomy, embryology, anatomy-muscles,viscera, physiology - deals with functions, a bit of pharmacology, biochemistry.
All this are done under few months before writing their 1st mb exams, then pathology-deals wit pathways of diseases, pharmacology deals with all drugs and their history, minor surgery in year 4 alone, paediatrics nd obsterics & gynaecology in year 5, surgery and community service in year6.
All of this is done in medical school.
If one is good at Maths and Physics you will do well at engineering bt being good at biology nd chemistry does not guarantee you will make it in medical school.
