Then if I spread the money in both account company 500k and savings 500k

You can either make the payment then ask for refund or you contact them then start a fresh one

Good Morning Justwise, please sorry for the bother.
Is it possible that the EEA family permit application form is quite different from the one almost everyone is applying with on their website? I came across another application form for EEA, but that one has to be downloaded, I don't know if it's the old form or its still being used. On that one there's no section for any sort of payment and very different from the online one.
I have tried calling them this morning but was told by an automated voice that I would be charged £1.30 per minute once I get connected to an officer, the money would be charged via my credit card. Couldn't complete the call cos my credit card hasn't been activated for any online transactions or anything of that sort.
Pls help.
Thanks

Your bank statement does not fit into a standard requirement and will still not fit after spreading the money. A healthy bank statement must have positive cash inflows and outflows, also refer to as source of funds, income and expenses. It must show your monthly income/salary even as a business owner. All inflows must be from a verifiable source.

Don't waste your money because the ECO will happily refused your application.

You must start a visa application before you can have a GWF number.

You can always create a profile with TLS contact after completing your visa application form. Seems to me you're putting the cart before the horse

Thanks for the reply.I believe my statement is healthy.Just that i will be submitting two statements of accounts with 1.17m balance put together.I will also be submitting a letter explaining that i normally transfer money from my salary account to my savings account hence the balance in my savings account. The transfers will also be reflected in the statements.
Please i stay in Enugu,i don't want to make a trip to Lagos twice. I know there is an option of courier service company returning one's passport and documents. Please how efficient is this service and how much more will it cost.Thanks.

hi all Gurus in the house. I need suggestions and advise

I want to apply for a UK visit visa and need your advise and suggestions.

A BRIEF NOTE OF MY TRAVEL HISORY

I went to the UK for the first time in 2010 as a student, I lived there until 2013 and left just few weeks before my post study visa expired. whilst in the UK I got married to my husband who lives in Nigeria in 2011 in court, in 2012 I invited him to visit me during the summer but he was refused due to VO's error of not checking his bank statement properly. surprisingly we were given right to appeal as stated on the refusal letter, i believe this was an error by the VO, but we appealed. Unfortunately the court hearing was few days before my post study visa expired so I called to cancel court hearing and left the country weeks before visa elapse as i didn't want to overstay my visa.

I got a job with a multinational company as soon as I came back home, the pay is ok but not so good. I have been working with the company for two years plus and I now have a child who is one year plus.

i will be on leave during christmas and I plan spending the Christmas holiday with my baby in the uk, my husband isn't interested in travelling with us cos he will be very busy at the time. . I have a younger brother who's currently doing his PHD program in the UK, he's wants to send us an invitation and willing to accommodate us during the duration of our stay.

my questions are as follows:

1. is it right to get an invitation letter from my brother or i just go as a tourist?

2. is it right for my brother to accommodate I and my baby or do I just book a hotel for us?

3. will cancelling the appeal for my hubby in 2013 affect my visa application?

4. what documents do I need to attach for my baby since I will be travelling with her alone?

I earn 120k a month and currently have a balance of 1.8million naira in my salary account which I will be using for my visa application . I plan spending 10days In the uk, if I have to stay in the hotel the estimated cost of my entire trip with my child is 537,259naira, but if I stay with my brother the estimated cost is 425030.

estimate of travel expense for I and my infant
flight: 750 pound
hotel accommodation 420 pounds
living expense, shopping, food, tfare- 600pounds
total expense 1770pounds equivalent to 537,259 or 1376.11pounds equivalent to 425030 if we stay with my brother.

please will be very happy to read your suggestions and advise

Ok bro, I spent btw100k-150k to register d new business cant really remember, I had like 4m plus in my acct, and I applied with my family of 4 including my wife and 2 kids. submitted only personal acct, but also submitted a fixed deposit statement for d company. I also included deed of assignments from landed properties(photocopies only). and a company letterhead detailing your full itinerary is very important cos I noticed it was the only document not returned. Also total budget for 2weeks visit is 8k pounds.....2.5k for tickets, 2.5k for vacation home/hotel for 2 weeks and 3k for shopping and miscellaneous. Also my kids birth certs and our wedding cert. then my wifes business cert ONLY..lol...so notice that I submitted ONLY 1 statement of acct which was my personal and not my company acct.....BUT I think my own case was easier cos I have gone to uk without issues twice and I also have a valid yankee visa(all of us) expiring august 2016. So maybe that's why it was faster and easier... grin grin grin

Wish you all goodluck!

If your brother is providing accommodation. He will need to send you his Mortgage Bill, utility bill, copy of his passport data page and visa, with clear evidence of his certificate of registration or proof of enrolment in his school. The letter of invite will clearly states that he will accommodate and provide feeding for you and your daughter duration your stay otherwise use the hotel reservation.

Voluntary withdrawal of your husband's appeal will not harm your application since you have not broken any immigration law.

For your daughter, you will need her birth certificate. Her application will be filled separately for a child visitor visa which is classified as a "special visitor"

Your finances and budget looks great. Your travelling history is a positive.

Regards.

1.5m will be too much if you only have 2m in your account.

Also are you employed or self-employed?

Hello Justwise,
Phew, after sending several mails back and forth with them, they said I probably chose a wrong visa type. They said there is a separate application for EEA family permit where I wouldnt be asked to make any sort of payment. I thought I picked the right one which was settlement. After they repeated the same thing in three emails, I decided to make a fresh application, because I had already confirmed the previous one, so no change could be made... lo and behold, the right visa type was just there titled : Other EEA/ Swiss Family member...sub visa type : Family Member of an EEA National.

Am so delighted.... cheesy smiley
Went to IOM for TB x-ray. Will pick up the result tomorrow. Will keep updating the house as I progress.
Thanks and do have a pleasant evening.

Please how do I make afresh post here. Can't seem to find my way around here. It's been years since I came to this site.

FrontPage Lawyer and Justwise,
My father will be sponsoring me for the visa application i wish to apply next week, i applied early this year (july) and was refused because of lump sum of money in the account. Read on the page that a sponsor should write a letter stating where and how he had the money. My dad ususally deals with huge lumps of money because of his line of work.
i plead if you can give me a draft or format to let my dad follow to explain money in his account. He has already printed the bank statement.

Thanks in advance
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by FrontPageLawyer(m): 2:50pm On Oct 28, 2015
@kaverd

We have repeatedly demonstrated what a healthy bank statement should look like. Positive cash inflows and outflows, also refer to as source of funds, income and expenses.

All the inflows must come from a verifiable source, therefore you are to submit evidence of business transactions, contract papers, award letters, receipts, invoices e.t.c.

There is no particular format explaining money lodgement in account, just have all inflows you feel could raise questions asterisk and briefly explain the source and attach the paper evidence.

Regards.
