This is the most difficult phase of any war against terrorism. Even the most sophisticated militaries in the world can hardly do anything when the enemies disguise, slip into large civilian population and then blow themselves up. Even the almighty world powers such as the USA were never able to complete/win this phase of the war before they ran away from Iraq and Afghanistan. BH is like cancer. You have to fight it until the very last cell is uprooted and completely destroyed. It is not enough to take away their weapons and source of funds. You have to deal with them mercilessly. If anyone is caught with weapons or explosives, there should be a quick trial, then he/she should face a firing squad. As simple as that. Come on!!! Nigeria alone has over 1 million police officers. Maybe the same number of soldiers, and only god knows how many security agencies personnel. And you are battling, for years, a bunch of well equipped, but still a small bunch, of gangsters?! Only if there is no political will, this problem will not be solved. |

have we not learnt our lesson, this is just sad and painful when would the government learn that you can't win the war against terrorism through the military.... it is high time we start clamoring for better intelligence agency since the police seem handicapped to challenge this menace can't we learn from the developed countries how they run their counter terrorism units, is it until when boko haram bomb us all?......kano for that matter this is sad, last time it was yola....is this how they intend to stop terrorism by december? france has been able to identify and make arrest of terrorist involved in the Paris attack.... since when bomb blast has been going on in Nigeria how many credible arrest has our intelligence agency been able to make? am tired of making condolence statements.... this guys in power should start taking Nigerians life's serious this is just painful. my heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims involved |
