Seun, u have proven yourself to be a sadistic tribalist, despite the fact that majority of the members on nairaland are ibos. So the yorubas and hausas are free to ask for oduduwastan n arewastan on nairaland but ibos cant do the same for biafra? Thunder fire you there.

Dear Mr.Seun, did you forget that Nairaland is the cyber reflection of Nigeria?
Nairaland reflects and passes out information on whatever is happening in Nigeria to our diasporas and the world at large.

There is a secession by the Igbo and Niger Delta people happening in Nigeria now. . . why veil it?

Because you love Biafrans hence you don't want them to seek for freedom even though they are being marginalized and denied certain privileges?

Wow! This is the highest height of selfishness and hypocrisy I've ever witnessed in my life!!

Oga Seun, it is quite obvious you've let your belief, tribe and personal desires becloud your judgement and stance on this issue.

You have succeeded in provoking the ones who are taciturn in nature!

I am not a ProBiafran activist. If you check my whole posts on this forum, I've never for one day talked about the Biafran struggle. I just keep my calm and observe.

And I tell you, I've observed a lot of negative treatments by the Nigerian Govt. towards the Biafran people!
And today you have given us that same treatment.

For even categorizing the Biafran people with "hacking, trolling and etc" is enough insult to my people!!!!

You have awoken us, Seun!! You have shown your true color!!!!

The Biafra agitation , has taken a terrible turn with the abuse of the medium that is NL, tribalist sentiments and the verbal attacks of the FG, and other ethnicity is the order of the day same as it is in other social media. There is no gentlemanly conduct and the mud-slinging and abuse has been back and forth from all sides and divides.

It is better to stop all conversations for or against if all parties can't be civil. If the movement was serious an organisation such as Radio Biafra London and IPOB should have set up a well coordinated forum for interest groups and stake holders to discuss without caution as was done with the pirate radio station.

Dear Igbos/Biafrans and others affected by Seun's decision, there is no need to argue or be pained as clearly that's what Seun and his advisers want, what you need to do is search for other forums that can accommodate us and our views.

Seun has exercised his right as 'owner' we can quietly exercise our rights as users.

There are several pro-Igbo/Biafran forums. Some of them may be asleep, we just have to wake them up.

Biafra is an idea that have survived many obstacles, Seun's misguided or induced ban will not stop Biafra.

Water must find it's level.

Much ado about nothing from both the Igbo commenters on NL.

The truth is, the inherent hate, bigotry and the glaring attempt at gagging the Igbos on this forum by Seun with this thread means nothing and will amount to nothing.

Before Seun or NL was born, Biafra has been in existence and will continue to be in existence, no matter the act of hate by anybody. The Igbo commenters on this thread disappointed me with their agitation at Seun's bigotry coz for us the old members, we all know there's no freedom of speech on NL from the mods to the owner. Seun runs this place like a dictator since 2012 when I was a guest so this draconian rule didn't surprise me.

NL can't kill the messengers nor the message, it can only limit it to NL only, there hundreds of dailies carrying the Biafra news and that allow people to speak their minds without fear of a ban, so why the tantrums from the Igbo NLers? Biafra will come to pass no matter the hate, it might take years, but it'll come to fruition. It's a matter of when not how.

I was born a Biafran and will die one, so a rule on NL changes nothing for me or the millions of Igbos out there in the real world pursuing this movement. So y'all quit the bytching and allow Seun to make his rules as he deems fit, it changes nothing about the Biafrans!!

Seun. You're just wasting your time. You cannot fight to prevail against ideologies. The fragmenting stresses in the nation is a reflection of the structural weakness of the Nigerian state brought about by the prolonged corrosiveness of social inequality, injustice and feudalism. A state that cannot treat it citizens with equity is on a path to self destruction. Once again its a waste of time. I seriously advice you to remain neutral.

Seun,
Use Nairaland to agitate for good governance and equal treatment for all Nigerians. It is the least you can do for a country you profess to love.Simply banning the talk about Biafra since it is a hot topic in nigeria is like saying you don't want to hear the name Buhari mentioned in nairaland. It isn't enough to say you don't want someone to leave, while you ask them to bear the unbearable.

Biafra OR Lower Niger Congress area shall emerge as a country, unless Nigeria restructures and give every part of the country a sense of belonging.

Wole Soyinka is a sage and he aptly put it that you can only defeat an idea with a greater idea. The only thing that will make sense for someone being increasingly enslaved in his own country is to remove all forms of enslavement, injustices, inequalities practiced in Nigeria against different citizens based on ethnicity or religion.

Unless Nigeria truly resolves to be one country in truth and deed, it cannot survive as one entity while oppressing sections of its territory and people from that area.
