winner01: Wow that is such a very great argument. It makes so much sense that atheist will choose not to believe in God so they can avoid consequences. Do you even know atheist choose not to believe in the police so they can rob banks. Atheist choose not to believe in hiv and aids so they can Sleep with women with no protection. They choose not to believe in fraudulent websites so they don't get scammed. They choose not to believe in the efcc so that they can steal as much as they want. Wow it makes sooo much sense 2 Likes |

KingEbukasBlog: If bad things happen to poor kids you quickly ask humans to come and help. And you blame it on humans. But when a good thing happens you blame it on God. Your God quickly comes and take the glory. Even if atheist go and help those kids you will still say it was your God. I remember how Nigerian worked hard to stop the spread of Ebola... Didn't you still say it was your Gods doing? Now let him do this himself for the first time. We want to see him take care of dying kids. Is that too much for him to do? 4 Likes 3 Shares |

I talked about Christ's eternal reign and man's peaceful eternal relationship with God in the new earth -no suffering , no sorrow - the other day and you called it fantasy . urahara:NO ONE avoids life's consequences, you can only choose to live in denial of its existence. urahara:Better put "Atheists wish there were no police men, so they can rob banks". But come to think of it, people who rob banks don't think of God when they do such, they prefer to kill their conscience for that short moment. Sounds like they become atheists for the few minutes of madness. urahara:Why not put it like this; "Atheists wish there were no HIV so they can sleep with women with no protection" urahara:"They wish there were no efcc so they can steal as much as they want. You see, ive put all your statements in the right phrase . And I was talking about man's natural nature, not atheists. Seems to me like you are having a hard time with your conscience. Well, like kingEbukasBlog have rightly said, you should take some time to reflect on the things you read. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Goahead listen to what I have to say. Saying God doesn't exist because of the problem of evil is an argument from lack of imagination. The problem of evil just proves that an omnipotent and omnibenevolent God doesn't exist. Let me ask you something do you really think God would send someone to hell for not believing in his incoherent self contradicting book called the Bible. And ask yourself why you don't believe in the other tens of thousands of gods. If I tell you I am God won't you demand for an exceptional evidence. Are u merely a believer because that is how your parents brought you up 1 Like 1 Share |

urahara:Because they are gods, unpar with the supernatural being above us.... The God of the Christians is omnibenevolent sir, he exudes his people with elixir that cure, miracles and love. Have you ever been to church? |
Re: Am I An Atheist? by urahara(m): 8:40am On Jan 15, 2016 |
Goahead: On his "omnibenevolence¥ He creates hell for the disbelievers. Isaiah 45 vs 7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things He says it himself that he creates evil. – Touching the Ark of the Covenant (1 Chronicles 13:9-10). This is the other example that critics use to slam the Biblical God. The Israelites, led by King David, are transporting the Ark of the Covenant. The oxen stumble, and Uzzah tries to steady the Ark. For his trouble, God kills him. Now, I’ve heard many reasons why this happened. Maybe God was using Uzzah as an example that the Ark was not just an inert piece of metal like you’d find in the other regional religions. Or maybe Uzzah died of a heart attack from the shock that he’d laid his hand on the Ark of the Covenant. Anyway, King David gave Uzzah his due by naming the place after him (“Perez Uzzah”). I know it means “outbreak against Uzzah,” but if you had to die in the service of the Lord for simply touching something, you gotta take anything you can get, y’know? NU 25:9 24,000 people die in a plague from the Lord. NU 31:9 The Israelites capture Midianite women and children. NU 31:17-18 Moses, following the Lord's command, orders the Israelites to kill all the Midianite male children and "... every woman who has known man ...." (Note: How would it be determined which women had known men? One can only speculate.) DT 7:2 The Lord commands the Israelites to "utterly destroy" and show "no mercy" to those whom he gives them for defeat. EZ 21:3-4 The Lord says that he will cut off both the righteous and the wicked that his sword shall go against all flesh. 1KI 13:15-24 A man is killed by a lion for eating bread and drinking water in a place where the Lord had previously told him not to. This is in spite of the fact that the man had subsequently been lied to by a prophet who told the man that an angel of the Lord said that it would be alright to eat and drink there. On the issue of miracles my brother even Mary is said to work wonders https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Lady_of_Guadalupe https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miraculous_Medal https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Lady_of_Lourdes https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marian_apparition So by using your argument Mary is truly the Queen of heaven because of her using her elixir that cure. Pagans also cure thee sick. And yes I've been to church thousands of times |
Re: Am I An Atheist? by malvisguy212: 8:48am On Jan 15, 2016 |
urahara:the problem is you, if you know the purpose of this universe, you will not say such things. The universe was not created to be good. God created the universe as a temporary place to prepared His creatures for a perfect universe,God is good, but He has allowed His creatures free-will to do whatever they want within their limited ability. God has designed the universe to operate under a set of physical principles. The purpose of the universe is to allow God's creatures the choice to love Him. Love is not possible without free-will. Therefore God chooses to allow His creatures the ability to do evil for the purpose of permitting them also to love. If God controlled everything we did, we could not demonstrate love, since we would be pre-programmed to respond. A computer cannot love, but free-will beings can. Neither pain nor death is evil from a Christian perspective. For example, pain is a necessary function in our lives. If we could not feel pain, we would end up causing serious damage to ourselves. Whenever I get burned,I move my hand rapidly away from the source of the pain. If I had no pain receptors, I would probably continue to burn my hand until I noticed the smoke. This would obviously not be a good thing to do. Likewise, death is required in a universe governed by entropy. 3 Likes 3 Shares |

urahara: 1. Is evil a 'thing' that we can create ? Can you feel ,smell and touch evil ? God created the heaven and earth and everything in it, God call everything he create Good, God also gave man the choice to chose, anything man chose that is in contradictory to what God created is evil, this mean God allowed evil to happened. The translation you use is OLD king James version. 2. The man who was eaten by lion, the man was even a prophet, ( God's children) read the whole story, he disobey God. |

malvisguy212: Free will ekwa Rom 9:18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills. Psa 139:16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed . Rom 9:10 And not only so, but also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, Rom 9:11 though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad--in order that God's purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls -- Rom 9:12 she was told, "The older will serve the younger." Rom 9:13 As it is written, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated." Rom 9:14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! Rom 9:15 For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." Rom 9:16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy . Rom 9:17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." Rom 9:18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills. (i wonder why some fools here mock Allah because of this.) Rom 9:19 You will say to me then, "Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?" Rom 9:20 But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, "Why have you made me like this?" Rom 9:21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? Rom 9:22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, Rom 9:23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory A woman who is raped is raped against her free will Rom 8:29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son , in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Rom 8:30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. How can there be free will when he has predestined everything. Joh 6:65 And he said, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father ." Rom 9:18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills. Rom 8:29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. Rom 8:30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. Rom 9:16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy Rom 9:18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills. Rom 9:21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? Eph 1:11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will |
