What has he said that is a lie now? The first step towards rehabilitation is accepting you have a problem. This is doubly important especially when you are asking for help from someone. The person you are asking help from recognizes that at least you know you have a problem and you are trying to change. Unlike denying you have a problem and continue to let the rot fester. No one will ever help you when you yourself don't realize you need help.

Very insightful comment.

Please lecture all these E-wailers

You are very dumb

Do you know the atrocities the british colonials committed in africa? have they themselves acknowledged it? have the british prime minister called his people murderers even after supporting nigeria in the biafran war to commit genocide because of oil. You seem not to know what being a president means.

Am ashamed to call this man my president. So many former ministers of information spent time and fortune to rebrand the image this country but in his attempt to appear righteous Buhari is pulling everything down.

Buhari has nothing to offer. He just came back to power to play 'catch up' with other former military leaders by amassing more wealth as he only took a little then because his rule was short lived. The brand of Tinubu politics that brought an illiterate coup monger back from oblivion to preside over the affairs of a democratic nation is still a case study among right thinking people at this time. Also Putting the south against the south just for A NORTHERNER TO COME BACK TO POWER is really an interesting phenomenon. We are all watching in HD.

What a re.tarded fellow. And due to the atrocities the British committed in Africa, their country is completely destroyed by corruption and crime. I am sure you can see how underdeveloped Britain is. Do you now see how phucked up your mentality is?

Na wao,
If Buhari can not close his mouth when he is outside the country, then he should stop travelling out.
Buhari is causing so much harm to the brand Nigeria.
Does our president even understand the dynamics of international diplomacy at all?
If Buhari doesnt know how to solve our numerous problems he should not go about compounding them by the day.
President Buhari probably thinks he is the only honest Nigerian. Quite amusing.
And the most annoying is that he thinks talking down on his country men will endear him to his western masters.
Chai we are in a real soup...

What about those affected by the Boko Haram insurgency? Also the ones affected by the Jos crises which is on even as we speak, also the ones maimed by the Fulani cattle rearers? Are their lives not in danger?

This self-righteous man should stop calling Nigerians corrupt and liars already.

it is your mentality that is fu.cked up, No matter how bad your nation is, as a leader do not make statements that make rebranding harder. After the millions spent to rebrand nigeria, just this single statement has destroyed everything.

Nigeria needs no additional enemy cos Buhari is already doing enough damage both at local and international fronts.

Who in his sane mind paints a bad picture of his home?
Does Buhari understand what diplomacy in speeches mean?

Every nation has its social challenges but they don't go about brandishing it at the slightest opportunity.

Are we worse than the Chinese, Indians, Lebanese and even Americans? Every nation is working at improving itself but not by washing its dirty linen on international media.

And we wonder why all the investors took off after May 29?

Buhari should never have been Nigeria's president at this time of global media frenzy
guy ur mouth Smell like ur anus. Buhari is this and that. in one word u prefer a thorough liar and a thief for a president.

You talk about image problem and you still worsen the matter by pronouncing Nigerians as corrupt.

Just yesterday you claimed that 80 percent of us are illiterate.

You are not tactful at all.

You are just too s.tupid for words. Your stupidity is legendary. What kind of re branding has Nigeria done. Are the citizens still engaging in jungle justice? Are the police still asking for bribe publicly? Are the politicians still looting at will? Is the country among the dirtiest in the world? Is the crime rate still of the charts. Listen, little kid. Grown ups are engaging in adult conversations here. This is not mills and boom you know. Whoever told you that any kind of re branding was done to Nigeria's image must be shot. Along with you for believing it.

PMB is right.

I mean who doesnt know that majority of Nigerians applying for asylum are liars? They have made it difficult for genuine travellers to travel without been suspected.

The m0f0s would rather cry all day long at the embassy because of visa refusals than face oppresive government at home.

PMB thank you for saying it as it is. If your country is well you dont need to go on image laundry, others will percieve it.

It wasn't an interview with any media. It was during his interactive session with Nigerians living in UK. He was essentially addressing his fellow citizens in a town-hall meeting

For those insulting PMB for his sincerity, is his statement a contrast to what's on ground based our imagine? Sweet talking will add nothing to our messed up imagine. whether you call am Ashawo or runs girl, both of them dey drop back for ground ,open yash once money don exchange hands.

For the fellow ranting about biggest economy and debased economy, what value did those indices do to the masses?
PMB is a sincere fellow that is always blunt when it comes to saying the truth. Its only fraudsters and evil minded people that will always have issues with his sincerity.

Whatever is the event. The issue is the president made the statements and someone is saying he/she doesn't believe the news. So I am wondering if telegraph will write such pace without an event. Except maybe he is using an irony here
