just this morning,I dressed up for church,made sure my offering money is safely in my bible...I took it upon myself to always give a begger that always sit by the side of the road,a young blind boy of about 10 years.he has a tin,that he always beat with a lovely song....

so this morning,as I stepped out from my house,walked along the road,I saw the boy and as usual dipped my hands in my bible and brought out a little money,dipped it in a nylon bag sitting next to him!....

I don't even know what came over me during the service,I had a strong conviction to give just ones in the offering today,because we normally give offering three times in the church.....so while returning from church,I saw the boy again,singing with his melodious voice and beating the tin...I decided then to drop the remaining money from my Bible.....

immediately I opened the gate of my house to get in,a little girl of about 6 years ran up to me and tapped me on my dress,when I looked back at her,she just muttered "Sister God bless u"smiled and ran off!.....I was astonished!....
friends....its good to help those in need,as u do may God bless u!

givers never lacks...both materially and otherwise....keep it up sis....as for me,my testimonies are just uncountable,numerous just from being generous.

Wanted to climb a motorcycle when a young lady rushed towards me and ask me for money to eat, i have to give her my N500 offering and then trekked to church, on my way back, someone was shouting my name "Great, Great" i turned back to look who was calling, behold the person was a friend of mine who just returned from south africa, she appologise for not sending a birthday msg to me last month, to my suprise, she deep her hand inside her bag and brought out N3,000 and gave to me.

Blessed be the one that giveth than the one that taketh.

Though we need to be very careful the way we give out our money to beggars cos some of the rituals made it difficult for us to give beggars our money.
we can't differentiate a beggar and a ritualist.
I will rather buy what they need to sustains themselves than to give out my money to unknown stranger.

Don't judge me, am only being careful but hardly give them money.

This story is somehow and lacks "common analysis". What really happened and how were you exactly blessed? The only moral I learnt from this your story is that you became smarter in the sense that rather than give offering 3 times to a con man pretending to be a pastor, it is better to give it to the needy. The rest of what happened later get k-leg no be small.

Okay and who was the little girl? I just confuse for your tori... So you gave beggar money and a little girls said "God bless you" ... Ehen and what happen next?

I remember back then in school, I stayed in the hostel. There were these kids that come around to work for money, 'almajiris', I made it a duty to give 1 person each day #100. Particularly, amongst them was a very small boy around 8years of age, I became fond of him so he was free to ask me for anything. One day he asked me for a school bag, I didn't have any to offer neither do I've money to get him one, but in the end I got him one. Few days after I met him, I inquired why he didn't go to school only for him to say he was sent away because of fees. How much I asked, he told me #500, initially I doubted him thinking maybe he lied so I can give him money, but there was so much pity, pain and suffering in his eyes, I believed him. I was dead broke then but I imagined, here is a boy willing to go to school but has no means, so I made the sacrifice. Days later I gave him the money. I stopped seeing him, so I forgot about him. I came back from a blasting lecture, exams was approaching and I was broke as a broken pencil only to find a woman and the boy in front of my room. The woman is his mother, she came to thank me for what I did. Though they were muslims, the widow prayed for me, I saw sincerity in her prayer. The thing is the next day I was sent #50k from someone I least expect, I had the best semester ever.

So, I said I'll do more not just for what I'll maybe get but because thats what Jesus would have done. I intend to open a foundation someday, but before then I'll give the little I've.
