I can now boldly say that indeed Nigerians love poverty and suffering. While they may deny these accusations verbally, in their nature and attitude they indeed cherish poverty and backwardness. A careful look at most of the comments here will prove my case right.

There are a lot of ills within the polity. Senator Ben Bruce is only trying to arouse our sensitivity so we can become more aware of those ills preventing our country from moving forward BUT a lot of us Nigerians will rather abuse, malign and insult him for doing so.

The issue with you is misplaced priority.

He never robbed anybody to pay anybody. He is a private business man whose initial aim was to make profit. He never had a gun over your freaking head to patronize his business. Most Nigerians tend to delve into a subject they knew little about and demonstrate stark ignorance in the process. The current president of Nigeria had no certificate to join officer's cadre of Nigerian armed forces.
