I blame PMB and his team for this fiasco simply because nearly all the top bureaucrats and agency heads are GEJ appointees which PMB should have fired a long time ago.

This administration is still full of corrupt GEJ's men and women..

So he presented the budget with a cursory glance at the document he was to present to the national Assembly?

HE SHOULD OWN THE BUDGET AND IS RESPONSIBLE AS FAR AS NIGERIANS ARE CONCERNED! ISN'T HE THE PRESIDENT? WE GAVE HIM THE POWER TO HIRE AND FIRE THOSE WORKING IN HIS GOVERNMENT, SO THE RESPONSIBILITY OF DELIVERING A VIABLE AND CLEAN BUDGET LIES ON HIS SHOULDERS! CHEI, NAIJA WENT FROM A CORRUPT CLUELESS DULLARD TO AN UPRIGHT CLUELESS DULLARD! IT IS WELL!

God would bless you bros for this insightful and intelligent EVIDENCE. Let their APC defenders and AREAs(Aisha Rice Eating Association) come out and defend him(PMB) again since they have no shame. APC SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[quote author=Kenai post=42781822]Hehehe. There they go again... Looking for scapegoats to hide their incompetence. But why should I be surprised?

When you have an incompetent, irresponsible iddiot for a leader, he will blame everyone and everything for his failures without accepting a shred of responsibility.
Here, their zombies are back with morronic threads, hoping to whitewash their leader's battered image. The soulless shills they are.

Ladies and gentlemen, do you recall the international gaffe committed by this same Buhari on September 2015, when the junketeer and his band of dunces embarked on a SIGHT-SEEING adventure in New York instead of attending the UN conference meeting on Insurgency? When they missed that meeting and the embarrassment went global, do you remember what happened next? They first lied that the meeting was UNOFFICIAL, hence unimportant; but when PremiumTimes exposed them as liars, they began to look for a scapegoat.
"Buhari's Team Accuses Ambassador Joy Ogwu Of Sabotage" was what followed. The illiterates weren't even ashamed of themselves, they went about trying to pin the blame on the poor woman for their hero's EMBARRASSING INCOMPETENCE. Their zombies went wild on Nairaland trying to spin it, while their inbred, slow-witted tribalistic monkeys even accused the woman of having a "BIAFRAN AGENDA" grin
Pray tell, what eventually became of that show? Shey the matter don die silently? Buhari and his team are FULLY aware that the bulk of his supporters are DIMWITS, and all it takes to keep them going is publishing some junk on the page of a newspaper whenever the man's incompetence is laid bare for the whole world to see. He has ABSOLUTELY no respect for them, and frankly, I can't blame him.

Wasn't this the same dunce who delayed appointment of ministers for 6 whole months while choosing to work with only Perm Secs? Didn't his dumb supporters equally try to run with that narrative that "Perm Secs are all we need"? He didn't accuse those Perm Secs of being Jonathan's men oh. Now he's been exposed with his disgusting budget and he's looking for a scapegoat. Tell me, did Perm Secs also draft the State House budget?

Mr. I-Am-Slow-To-Avoid-Mistakes shot himself on the foot and his supporters are aimlessly running around in panic. He has been TOTALLY exposed for the fraud he is. And please tell him to drop his fake "Anti Corruption" act, as we can all see it was nothing but a LIE.

A bad technician will always blame his tools./quote]

Wait oh. Are they trying to tell us that the president didn't tell his ministers what he expected of them to achieve his plans for Nigeria so that the ministers can tell the heads of departments under them what they need to do to achieve the president's plans before the costs of all these things are calculated and then made into a budget? Abi na template them just carry, fill, submit?

Or the president doesn't have a plan?

Its possible that he went through it but he might not have done year-to-year comparisons.

Bros! What i am trying to explain is that in order to fully appreciate the budget, he needed to have put it in context of the previous year budget or even spend (actual). That could have helped him in weeding out the excesses.

Knowing what is good and what is not, is not a function of just glancing at the figures and slashing like that. Making hard decisions is not a function of sentiments or feelings. He needs to use hard data.

Not sure any member of your family had ever held a top management position. Some people will just open their mouth and say what others are saying without having the slightest idea of the topic. How is the govt. structured, and how does it function?

This proposed probe is just one lame effort at abdicating responsibility over the very obvious fraud that this administration is daily turning into. Do they mean to tell us that those figures weren't vetted before they were submitted at first? And after stealing the original draft from the Senate, so the best these gang of crooks could do was to further pad estimated expenditure for every item related to the presidency, and turn back to blame an imaginary 'Budget Mafia' after they've been discovered? Someone should tell the president to be honorable enough to take responsibility for this recurring embarassment. Afterall, it was he who chose to be a sole administrator for six months, saying he wanted to be methodical so as not to make mistakes. And what do we have? Make i hear word joor!
