Re: Innoson Produces Parts For Nigerian AirForce Fighter Jets by Flyoruboy(m): 8:13pm On Feb 10, 2016 |
InyinyaAgbaOku: Jamb question. Obviously it is popular enough amongst the niche of clientele it caters to, a la U.N, V.I.Ps, Rwandan govt, Nigeria Police, Airforce, Navy, Army, etc. Its first mention on Nairaland was circa 2013 I think. You may be shocked to find out that not too many people are aware of the existence of Innoson either -- how many Innoson vehicles does the average Nigerian come across daily? |

Some folks & their inferiority complex tire me, just imagine, Innoson just helped the Nigerian millitary out of a dificult situation but instead of them to appreciate & encourage Innoson, they have started another d!ck measuring exercise & if I talk now they will ban me. Now, WTF is proforce? how can a sane person compare welding workshop with an automobile manufacturing company? LWKMD, this is like comparing a hummer jeep with a keke napep. Na Wa o, only in Nigeria. 1 Like |

Innoson are doing a great job, they need to improve their PR. Proforce has been put there building Armoured vehicles for the army and police for a while now, and are also involved in developing naval vessels from grouf up. They have supplied almost all the state governments with military vehicles of their own design built from scratch for over 8 years now. Nothing new, Don't keep yourself over Yoruba matter. More importantly don't shout about innoson while you yourself contribute nothing. |

Guy why are you arguing blindly? You need to simply google 'Proforce Nigeria' and see the result. I have just done now and saw more than enough pix of the company's activities and past published news. Proforce specialises on building armoured vehicles, Innoson specialized on other vehicles. Why do you allow hatred to blindfold you to this extent? |

tonyfrenzy: Your argument lacks reason, before you stand and ask how many airports have been built you need to understand that such pointless grand projects are the reason we are in this dire situation. How many of the 170 million and more Nigerians and the many individuals foreign or local can afford to travel by air within Nigeria, what is the current traffic at the airport like. Is it economically reasonable to have airports in every state that are never at 20% capacity. Please next time your governor talks of investing in an airport write him a letter to suggest he should rather put that money into a regional or national joint rail project. I wonder what they discuss at the governors forumn. Seaports are just same, if it is not economically viable it makes no sense. Few weeks ago we had an argument about Onne port here on NL and I stated that vessels would choose not to dock there if the safety can not be guaranteed , alresy I've been proven correct, at least two vesel has been boarded and individuals kidnapped and the navy foiling one the attempts. enigma2007: The US export both the F15 and F16 in high numbers to add I don't think the US have taken on board any new F16 in a long time, they've done overhauls on old inventory to modernise them but that's about it. They were not happy selling to Nigeria beforehand thou, that may have changed with PMB coming into play. The main reason we buy alpha jets remains cost, they cost about $8 million or less while an F16 cost north of $20 million new or about 13 for a refurbed unit. I doubt we have the expertise to maintain American either, I tend to prefer Russian jets |

But they did not "PRODUCE" anything in the story so why the misleading headline by OP? "Innoson produces parts for Jets"? This is simply untrue. The effort is laudable and commendable by Innoson but the OP should not mislead people. Nigerian all over the country have been force to survive with equipment that would have been condemned elsewhere my modifications that surprise even the manufacturer which is a testament to the fact that under the right circumstances we CAN BE as good as anyone else. We should however not celebrate the average. They have REPAIRED the brakes on the Jet .Let us call things by their correct names |

itokam: FIXED! PROOF: If the Igbo Man hates yoruba, he won't leave his hometown to go and invest and ply trade there! How many yorubas do that? The last time i checked, the Monarch who threatened a tribe with drowning in the Lagoon was not an Igbo Traditional Ruler...Have you ever heard of any Igbo Trad ruler or politician publicly berate yorubas? There was a demonstration and outcry that IGBO should leave Lagos! Where has there been a demonstration that yorubas should leave any South East State? CONCLUSION: Bro...YOUR YORUBA PEOPLE ARE THE ONES WHO CARRY HATRED FOR IGBOS and........(Read the last statement which i made bold on your own comment) their is some logical truth in it in respect to the current state of affairs in the zones of the tribes involved! |

Southerners can you please be united for once? Why all these hatred? Education; Southerners, innovation; southerners, Sports; Southerners and so on. If the southerners can leave their ethnic differences aside and unite, sky is our limit. No doubts, the igbos and the yorubas are highly talented people. I implore the owner of this site to sensor any tribal statements on this site, it fuels hatred among the most talented people of the black race. |
