The thing is an agnostic do not subscribe to any creationism not even a personal one... they maintain the actuality of God(s) are unknown either in principle or in facts.

So once one invokes a creationism theory to explain causality it leans away from plain agnosticism but could rather be termed Agnostic Theism or agnostic deism.

I am an Agnostic Atheist. Agnostic in the sense that i am also of the opinion that the actuality of any God(s) is unknown, unproven and cannot be substantiated and in the same sense an Atheist because i disbelieve all the claims around or the cases where such assumption is invoked as a placeholder for scientific ignorance

You are plain atheist no dey wine yourself . Its very easy to know an agnostic atheist . How will claim to be agnostic when you claim the universe has a beginning but its cause CANT be God . You mock Christians for having faith in the creation of the universe by God .

Agnostic atheists are atheistic because they do not hold a belief in the existence of any deity and agnostic because they claim that the existence of a deity is either unknowable in principle or currently unknown in fact.

The latter of the above means the possibility of a creator has not been completely ruled out but you have done so many times

Hello ? The second coming of Jesus ... remember? The christian belief you and your crew always mock . Why is Jesus coming back ? Won't his coming back seal the fact he is the creator ?

Again , mister , you are not making sense . If you cannot prove that the universe needs no creator , then better wait for Christ's second coming undecided

You are missing the point . If you can agree to the eternal nature of energy and its properties you cant tell whence they came from , it is rational not to question the intelligence , powerful and existence of an eternal being - God .

Cheers bro

So if I can't explain whence energy came from then God exists? How about humbly saying, I do not know?

I cannot believe in the intelligence and power of a God that has not been proven in any way.

Energy is not the same as a conscious, intelligent, eternal being.

Unless you're saying that god= mass x acceleration x distance

No I'm saying its not rational to question God's existence or where He got his powers , intelligence , consciousness from and wont do same for energy which is also eternal and has its properties . I think energy is part of God wink

The problem with God is that he cannot be measured like energy, nor quantified. If God's existence was as clear cut as energy I won't bother questioning it

There have been miracles even I have experienced one . You have made no point . Let me ask you one question . Why did Christianity spread through turbulent times of persecution during the post-Jesus era ?

Which miracle? If the words of Jesus are true you will not only be experiencing miracles but doing miracles yourself. Here is what Jesus promised those of you that believe in him.

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.- John 14:12

If christianity is true you will perform greater feats than what was written about Jesus. The day you will heal an amputee as a clear cut of a miracle that will be when I will know that you have an idea of what you are talking about.

As for the spread of christianity, all i'll tell you is to go and study history. Christianity only began to spread and become what it is today when Emperor Constantine embraced it, made it legal, and later on after him, Emperor Theodosius decided to make it the official religion of the Roman empire. As the Romans went about conquering territories(They were the strongest empire as at then) they made sure that the people they conquered converted to christianity, it kept on spreading that way till they Romans conquered the entire Europe and some parts of Asia. After the fall of the Roman empire the European colonialist also went about conquering lands in Africa and the Americas, they also spread the religion that way. Christianity was spread through conquest after it became the official religion of the Roman empire.

You have no proof to this . You are making bizzare claims . In the same vein , I can tell you that a lot of them believe in the bible as the word of God as they identify with Christianity .

Why do you keep saying this? If they believe that the bible is the word of God they won't go against what it says blatantly. I have given you an example with gay marriage. The Europeans do not believe it is wrong to be gay as such speaking bad against gays and their life style is a crime in most parts of Europe. They do not accept creationism, most of them are evolutionist. In Nigeria for example where people believe that the bible is the word of God, gays will even tell you that what they are doing is wrong. They engage in homosexual activities but they can never tell you that what they are doing is right going by what the bible says for example because they believe the bible to be the word of God.

Lol ... thanks for shooting yourself in the foot . No religious principle applies in economics right ? So apply the same reasoning in a country like Nigeria whom you've claimed are backward because they are religious

In Nigeria people expect God to do everything for them unlike in Europe. In Nigeria even the leaders pray away the problems of the Nation. People are encouraged to pray for the Nation instead of working to solve problem. Governors and even presidents believe that prayers alone can solve issues. Go to the churches and mosques and listen to what the pastors and imams are preaching.

Gosh . This is so silly . I am having a blast here . If AIs can annihilate mankind , why continue to develop the intellectual capacity of these robots . Why build nuclear bombs ? How will putting so much efforts to build things that will cause your nonexistence , prevent it from doing so? You are not making any sense . You put up a proposition you cant even defend .

Is it atheist that are building AI and nuclear bombs? What the hell are you saying?

Yeah tell that to the Parliaments and Royal Families grin

Statistics ? What statistics ? I can just replace the country and tell you the exact opposite as my "statistics" . Dalaman , I live in Russia ... (you can complete it with the exact opposite of what you said)

You just love moving in circles, I have already given you the link.

Let's use the word "creator" . But the universe's cause of existence can be attributed to an eternal creator's purpose - is this a rational stance ? Yes or No ?

If his dad loves him as he claims then he'll get him the car . Because he's desire has been met . I believe this is the perfect analogy ... right ?

In the US , people are encouraged to pray for the nation on the National Prayer day . The Parliament in Britain starts off proceedings with prayers . These same things happen over there .

North Korea's president ? Hello ?

But you claimed atheists are trying to stop the aforementioned causes that may lead to man's obliteration . Can you give me their names and how they are going about it ?

And I gave you a link that showed that only 7 percent of Europe's total population are atheists while 72 percent are Christians

Clear cut miracles do not happen that is why you can not see an amputee being healed any where. Any other miracle claim can be acted or staged but this one can not that is why it is never done. If christianity is true you will be able to heal an amputee and restore his/her amputated limbs back because Jesus promised you the ability to do greater things than him because you believe in him. Your analogy is completely off point because while people buy cars for their kids always, clear cut miracles like healing of amputees have never been done and can never be done anywhere. I repeat if christianity is true you should be able to heal amputees as Jesus promised those of you that believe in him.

So why did they drop the worship of their gods for Christianity ?

Because they were completely conquered by the christians and forced to accept the new religion of their conquerors .

In the US , people are encouraged to pray for the nation on the National Prayer day . The Parliament in Britain starts off proceedings with prayers . These same things happen over there .

They pray but they believe more in the notion that anything that man needs to do must be done by man himself. They don't believe they way we do. They don't pray away their problems, they work very hard to solve it.

I told you that identifying with a religion means nothing. Majority of them have stated that it doesn't matter in their lives. About 70% of people living in Russia for example say that religion has no importance in their lives. Even though they associate with christianity, it has no importance in their lives.

How can energy be called eternal when Big Bang cosmology says all the laws of science breaks down at the singularity?

"Hubble’s observations suggested that there was a time, called the big bang, when the universe was infinitesimally small and infinitely dense. Under such conditions all the laws of science, and therefore all ability to predict the future, would break down." (A Brief History Of Time, Hawking, pg 5)

How will claim to be agnostic when you claim the universe has a beginning but its cause CANT be God .

In the English language, the word "beginning" means one thing and "God" another.

You will never hear a student say, "at the God of the semester, I was reading 4 courses," but rather "at the beginning of the semester, I was reading 4 courses."

Now, we can agree to use the word God instead, but you must make it clear that you're only referring to the beginning.
