Brother masturbation does not take away happiness,or cause low self exteem. Guilt does. I am an evangelist and i was once a masturbator, infact almost all guys whether married or single masturbates or have masturbated at one point or the other. Masturbation is not a sin and you cannot see anywhere in the bible where masturbation was called a sin. The sin behind masturbation is lust. Lust is sin and if you can masturbate without lust then it may not be a sin but in most cases you cant masturbate without feeling lust,as lust is the sexual fuel of masturbation.
