It was passed by the last Senate incase you never heard of it.

Take your time to peruse it and you'll see that Justice Umar is very right.

The supreme court is yet to rule on the substantive case!!Remember wike had earlier lost at the supreme court when he challenged the tribunal's jurisdiction to sit at Abuja only to win in the substantive suit.

Enormous power to investigate does not equate to power to remove or appoint. Here is what paragraph 15 section2 - 4 of the 5th schedule of the 1999 constitution says



Since the CCT chairman can only be appointed by the executive on the recommendation of the NJC ( it is even silent on the approval by the senate.
