Saraki's Trial Spells Doom For Tinubu by TheDevilIsALai: 7:56am On Apr 23, 2016
Saraki approached a federal high court to stop his trial before the CCT citing the acquittal of Bola Tinubu by the same court for the same offence and on the same technical grounds of arraignment by the CCB and EFCC joint investigators.

The federal high Court rightfully threw out saraki's motion and pronounced that Tinubu's acquittal was an error by the CCT tribunal hearing his case.

What this means is that Tinubu's acquittal no longer stands and as such he can be rearriagned for the same offence all over again.

The possibility of Tinubu facing similar fate like saraki in the near future is thus inevitable.

I foresee either Buhari using the same CCT trial to check Tinubu when they inevitably fall out or a scenario when this govt is kicked out in 2019, Tinubu will surely face the CCT.

Tinubu in your blind silly ambitious rage to control the Senate you have shot yourself in the foot by opening up a can of worms.

TheDevilIsALai:

Tinubu pleaded no contest to money laundry charges believed to be proceeds from illicit drug dealing before a US federal district circuit judge and was summarily convicted and a sentence pronounced on him.

The sentence did not carry a jail term as Tinubu cut a deal with the D.A's office to snitch on his fellow co defendants who I might add are still rotting away in a federal maximum prison.

This is why since the amended US immigration law as at 2013 signed by Obama was passed which prohibits convicted felons like Bola and Remi Tinubu from re-entry into the US, Tinubu has not visited the US since his well published attendance at the Democratic convention.

This is why you never saw Tinubu accompany Buhari to the US.

The man is a convicted felon and you can ask him to dare sue me to court over that statement.

Tinubu is a convicted felon.

This is what amala sophisticated tribalistic politicking has gotten you suffersicated rats in the 21st century; a drug dealer as your defacto political head who convinced you fools to vote a despotic sectional bigoted illiterate boko.

Show us proof and stop ranting. Pained fellow from pained tribe

Hahaha! cheesy grin

Some posts on this thread show emptiness...they are no longer able to defend the indefensible! Tinubu has been throwing so many stones forgetting that he lives in a mighty glasshouse albeit a fairly reinforced one. It is still glass though and with enough pressure it will cave!

In this case though it will probably be through the same hole that he threw them stones that he'll get the bullseye strike!

Rascal like Erubebe abi?

You ibos are always pained. You people are always bitter about Tinubu success In politics cos non of your elders could attain the level he attained in politics.

You are pained cos GEJ lost last election, from that point I start to wonder, did you people felt the same way when your suppose Biafra warlord lost election twice? I guess not cos he couldn't even win his polling unit. You disappointed him. You people made him regret he forght for you, he lost woefully and am sure he will be surprised by the support you people gave GEJ while you people left him pains in his heart for not voting for him.

I shame for una

Lolz.

Tribal goat pray tell who is ibo?

Refute the fact that Tinubu is a drug dealer convict and thief fraudulent bastard or stfu!

The Tajus can only refer to ibo as if I am ibo this proves how myopically silly and tribal they are.

Tinubu remains a fraud.

His name, ancestry, Lagos state claim, academic and democratic claims are all frauds.

Sometimes I am tempted to believe he is the child of lucifer himself.

I don't blame the criminal convict it is the fools that made him king I pity.

I made a thread here that killed falana's nomination for CJN.

I know Buhari's sycophants in Aso Rock visit nairaland daily and I know they will tell their king to use the CCT trial of saraki to reopen Tinubu's case file and thus silence him forever.

Shehu tell your baba this is a once in a life time opportunity to address the Tinubu question once and for all and also portray his corruption war as not being partisan and partial.

You are a hypocrite when you rush to stone saraki but forget the bastard that you worship has already been implicated on the same offence and that his acquittal has summarily been thrown out.

When Tinubu is rightfully re-arraigned before the CCT clowns like you will be the first hypocrites in line shouting political witch hunting.

You've not said anything, only rigmaroling in confusion. Was Tinubu acquitted or only discharged? You need to start reading and listening to informative discourses.

****

The same justice that discharged and acquitted Tinubu is the same justice that refused to entertain Saraki's motion for the case to be dismissed on the same grounds only for the same Justice Umar to claim he ruled in error in discharging and acquitting Tinubu.

Saraki will later challenge the over ruling of his motion by justice Umar in a higher court only for it to be sustained.

That means that Tinubu's acquittal by the same CCT can not be used as precedence as it was done in error thus making Tinubu's acquittal null and void.

Do not argue beyond your shilling grade.

But you e touts were already making threads claiming that falana's name was already etched in gold as the CJN before Buhari released his belated ministerial list.

On what premise did you and your fellow e touts come to the assumption that Falana would be appointed CJN?

Any clown that is a Tinubu fan does not have the right to speak on saraki.

Until the SW gets the right people to lead them then they should forever forget about putting their wide mouths into the affairs of the central govt.

When did the CJ become a ministry, that, as you now claim, would've made the admirers of APC to be pushing the name of Falana to be made CJN? Guy, start reading.

From CJN to Minister of Justice? You're confused. Buhari couldn't have made Falana a minister he is from Ekiti, the same state as Fayemi. Always use your brain.

**** that isn't what your fellow paid touts were boasting prior to the release of Buhari's ministerial list.

Even Falana blamed his non nomination as minister of Justice on a certain individual in kaduna who demanded a meeting with him before he was shortlisted.

Fact that I wrote CJN instead of Attorney-General of the Federation was a slip so don't use that as a yardstick to wage a straw man argument besides we are talking of Tinubu's inevitable arraignment in the near future before the CCT

Have you ever heard of double jeopardy?
It means you cannot be tried twice for the same offence - Tinubu was lucky somebody made a mistake; too bad you can't bring him back again; but the same cannot be said for Saraki.
