And the commissioner of police of Enugu state was on air yesterday telling the whole world that the attack was carried out by hoodlums and not herdsmen.
What a shame our police has suddenly become, an attack was lunched on unarmed citizens and you couldn't come to their rescue, rather you are saying that the people are dumb that they cannot differentiate between herdsmen and hoodlums. Let's learn to say the truth even when we fall in our duty.

They were merely acting on instructions.

Wonder why the Buhari-led Government is treating this Fulani Herdsmen issue with kids gloves.

Is there anything he's not telling us?

My major problem is not with the terrorist group called herdsmen, but on the useless governor who happens to be the chief security officer of state coming to tell the bereaved that "his hands were tied and actually went ahead to recommend fasting n prayer".
He is unfit to be a governor!

To those turning this to a tribal issue, innocent lives have been lost, families destroyed.

Pls show some empathy, and have some restraint.

At least be a decent human. Who laughs and make jokes at another's misfortune? That's just so wrong on many levels.

RIP to the dead.

undecided I think we the southerners need to unite and sponsor an apology to the fulani's on the frontpage of 3 newspapers so this killings can stop. Nnamdi Kanu caused these senseless killings by abusing the hausa fulanis on Radio Biafra and calling for their deaths. We should also support the grazing bill so these guys can graze their cattle in peace. The Fulani's are good and peaceful guys until Nnamdi kanu provoked them. We yoruba's are ready to grant them our lands for grazing. The igbos need to do the same for the sake of peace sad

Even in mile12 crises 3 hausas was first taken down and burnt before d reprisals attack that killed two igbos and 2 yoruba children returning frm sch.

Chestbeating is bad ...it is more of what led to d bloodbath of more than 60 igbos in Enugu.

The whole scenario seems fishy !!!why the community call for security for safety and they turned them down with ridiculous excuses and after the deed have been done they came to prevented the village from revenge , they could do better by preventing the massacred. This fulanis , are killing people because they have some governmental back up , is getting too much everyday by day. Buhari call your brothers in order.!!!!!!!!!.

But I thought ipob have their own soldiers ? Ah this is time to prove something oooh don't just be a chest beater and opc in the west please be at alert this fulani are nightmare.

ipob has always maintained their stance as a non violent organization. their protests and marches has been without arms.

on the other hand you should ask why 82 men who planned to fish out the herdsmen from the bush were arrested by soldiers and taken to umuahia police station.

or why the false alarm of mass graves in abia.

that area is a soft spot for them cos the more they go inland the harder it is for them to escape as it happened to them in anambra.

furthermore these people appear to have state protection. they attack and nothing is done. but as soon as you plan yours soldiers come and arrest you.

and don't call on IPC they killed one of them in falaes farm and nothing has been done till now.

sometimes ago, i remember how some
people from certain region always
found joy in any news from the
northeast regarding bokoharam attack
on innocent citizens. all this was just to
score cheap point in order to have
reasons to discredit the present
government. you will see them in
celebrating mood as if human lives
means nothing to them without putting
themselves in other’s shoe. even the
recent killing in agatu, we heard them
call the agatus cowards and different
unprintable names with questions like
why did they vote this administration?
so they deserves what they are
experiencing.
now the table has turned around where
the deer chases the dog, and the dog
chases the hunter. the monstrous
.fulani herdsmen has started their
rampage in southeast especially the
recent occurrence in enugu.though this
act is very barbaric where they
slaughter human like goat after raping
their women and then destroy their
properties. only a heartless human
being will derive joy in hearing such
news. my brothers from the region
have started calling for help from left,
right and centre, calling for the unity of
other southern brothers and
government aid. even though we saw
their mood during the mile12 clash
between Hausas and Yoruba traders
where some humorously said it a fight
of buhari and osinbajo’s boy.
my question is how ll you feel now
when others celebrate with your
predicament? should we pray for more
so we can condemn the government?
when fire is razing down your
neighbour’s house, it is your
responsibility to put it off. ifnot your
house ll not be spared and it might be
the next.

When it comes to safety of lives and properties our leaders and authorities are fond of campaigning after election but when it comes to improvement of their own personal purse and political positions for their selfish benefit they will campaign before election.
Imagine a whole State Governor was contacted prior before this attacks and all he could do was sit back and relax and tell them that it won't happen. After the mayhem, killings and the rapings have been done he now told the surviving one's to go on a 2 day fast

You talk like one of the fulani herdsmen's cattle.

Can a pride of lions apology to a pack of jackals? Apologise to a lanky looking tribe who thinks the earth is theirs only? We rather die than stoop low. The herdsmen only attack villages with many old farmers and law abiding villagers. Why didn't they attack a community in the city?

And where is Buhari? What kind of president throws a blind eye and a deaf ear to serial attacks from his tribesmen?
Don't tell me that you took that f00l seriously.

So the villagers knew they were to be attacked and they cant organise vigilante and arm themselves
imagine fulani telling the communities that their land belong to them for grazing, raping women and many more
and the slowpoke of a governor could only talk about prayer and fasting
this is what ipob should arise and confront not insulting yorubas
unless they are a bunch of cowards

this is trash, why are you bringing yellowbars into this

Re: Police Abandoned Us During Herdsmen Invasion – Enugu Community by Nobody: 6:42am On Apr 27, 2016
First, the governor of the enugu state, is not only a big fool but he is also a coward. How can a governor recommend praying and fasting as a solution is this 41st century? Fulani herdsmen dey do fasting before them attack?

Secondly, the commissioner of police is a disgrace, how can u say only 5 persons died in this Internet age? Even if you had f9 in mathematics, 30 and 5 are miles apart.

Thirdly, the community. You guys were smart enough to have Intel on the impending attack. You guy are even smart enough to know that the police wasn't willing to help, but you guy were not smart enough to look for option B. I am so disappointed. At least 10 of the marauders should have been killed.

Lastly, to to the other states in the southeast (aba and onitsha), will u guys keep waiting until they attack your states before you revenge for your brothers? With the way you rant online, I was secretly praying for the fulani herdsmen to make the ultimate mistake and attack a state in South East so tha their final end will come since obviously yoruba's have been termed coward but I was not only surprised, I was also disappointed. Pls it's not too late.. anambra and abia, revenge for your brothers. Don't wait until they attack ihiala and you will say if only they come to onitsha or they attack umuahia and you say if only they come to aba.

In summary there is need for Southern unity against this infidels before they colonize us again

Your last sentence shows you've not been following the news lately. Otherwise you'll know that the Fulani guy that killed the opc man has since been taken out. That news made front page some weeks back. That's just by the way though. Southern Nigeria need to be very proactive with this Fulani herdsmen. The security personnel have shown to be partial in all of this, so we gotta act fact and smart.

Even if they hate GEJ and PDP, must they support Buhari's evil ways to prove that?

Honestly it is as if there is no president in this country.

Tell me what else Buhari has done apart from persecuting his perceived enemies.

Imagine the Nos of deaths and other casualties recorded so far and Buhari is yet to make an official speech about it.

It seems to me that Buhari is not interested in any matter that has nothing to do with loot recovery.

What a greedy man!

Shame on the IG,CP, DCP, ACP, Governor and the entire NPF.

To those chastising Abuja, if your own people who are part of the police force won't respond to protect you, how would Abuja protect you?

This is the same reason we have all this heartbreaking problems.
