Bro, can someone get the IGSES with online copy of transcript submitted during application or official hard copy is compulsory for it?

Dare for me i got the IGSES with admission acceptance but was asked to send official transcript as special conditions now the IGSES reflects on admission letter, so i guess hard copy still needed for verification

Congrats.

To be honest with you, the entrance scholarship doesn't mean much in terms of boosting your financial standing for visa application. If you got the UMGF, then, you have less to worry about, about being denied visa based on financial reasons. Even then, you still have to get a sponsor with a 'smiling' account balance or good cash inflow to remove all doubts from the VO's mind.

You don't need any special proof of the IGSES other than your admission letter. And you state the actual amount of your tuition, without the IGSES. If it was the UMGF, then, you will need to submit a coloured (not necessarily original) copy of the scholarship letter and the form you filled stating you are accepting the scholarship.

Hello, just want to ask a question, knowing you're in U of M. I was given an admission for MSc in Community Health Sciences department. My supervisor have a grant that he's willing to pay me, cos I will be working as his research assistant. I requested a written letter from him stating the amount he will be paying, he sent me a letter duely signed him with d details of d proportion of the grant allocated. Can that be used as a scholarship letter to add to my financial support, cos I intend using it since I didn't apply for UMGF? Thanks. What department are you?

Absolutely. You should attach it to your visa application. It shows some source of financial support, from a reliable person like your supervisor.

I am in Agribusiness & Agricultural Economics department.

You can just claim the person (by faith) is your uncle or aunt.....and you'll be fine

Won't that be lying? I thought u said we should not lie in visa application. Any falsehood will come back to hurt us.

Would be good if you can get a letter of intro from your employer.....letter of employment may not be sufficient as many things could have happened between when you were employed and now. If however you cannot get intro letter, you may have to faith your Employment letter, pay slips and your salary account....and then hope for the best....
Thanks a lot. I'll think it through and decide on what's best.

Ahahah....funny you. You must have misinterpreted what i meant. The question then was about disclosing family members abroad. And i wrote, except they are your immediate family members.......siblings or parents, you don't have to disclose them. Take for instance you have siblings in Canada, but in your app, you decided not to disclose that for fear of refusal......by the time you apply for provincial nomination, and they ask you for ties to the province you're applying to......you won't be able to claim them again..... or say your siblings are not even here in Canada. Maybe they are in Naija, but you decided not to include them in your app.....and then God helped you, you became a PR......how will you invite them? Because in their records, you dont have sibling....
Their are some things you just can't lie about.....and at the same time, some things require maturity.......which according to African elders, IS THE ABILITY NOT TO LIE, BUT NOT TO TELL THE TRUTH.
So do all you can to get your trv......but think about the future while you do those things.....

How many days does my sponsor's statement of account remain valid if I don't apply for visa on time?

Hmmmn, ok. So u can lie abt some things but not abt others. And then there is not lying and not telling d truth i.e. Lying by omission. Abeg @mizbaby do u agree with dis definition?

2-in d study permit application made outside of canada form, can I use English as my native language/moda tongue, although it is meant to be yoruba?

Please I need answers.. Biko

This was what I actually did also. I just put all necessary docs to show I am in an employment without the introduction letter since my employer is not sponsoring me
its good to gamble sometimes but often times, it`s better to put urself in the position of a VO and then see the type of question you will ask on such application. Remember, the VO wants an assurance that you will return after your study right......if you are in employment and u didn`t include reference letter from your employer.... it shows that you are absconding from duty. it means your employer is not aware of your travelling... The reference letter from ur employer is the utmost assurance giver to the VO and they dont have to state that they are sponsoring u or not... its just a simple to who it may concern to show that you are in employment with that company. Thats the interepretation!!! Well, what works for MR A might not work for MR B and you guys should stop gambling!! I was faced with such during my own time and I went extra mile to get that letter and my visa was processed in 3 weeks. Thats Grace and confidence... my sponsor wasn`t my employer nor my relative. it`s all about how u package urself and God`s Grace but remember to always put urself in the VO position and ask urself questions on ur application before submitting. NO rush....

Hello Team16, I know in my school University of Alberta there is funding for research based programs, I am not sure about University of New Brunswick but I think there should be. To be absolutely certain, you should mail or call the graduate coordinator of the program you are interested in to find out.

Team16,

Your enquiry would be best answered by your school. You may check LinkedIn for past and current students. Best of luck mate.

Geez how difficult is this?
Prove beyond doubt that he's friends with your dad with supporting docs as pics/email correspondences/ letters et al. Then prove that you were not adopted by you dad. wink

One tip guys, have a lot of people question your package, it helps a lot to do things in alternative ways. First step is doing your assignment, and stop asking if you need PCC to apply for paper route, after you've gone on to the cic portal. People are more responsive when they see that you've done t basic stuff.

I've not submitted my app yet, I have 2 separate SOPS all in the review process.

I've had to have my key stakeholders (package review panel lol) agree to a basic idea regarding my visa application.

Through interactions with some wonderful guys here, I noticed a few documents that I didn't include in my requirements from the get go including correspondences between my sponsor (employer) and I.

Moral: Get people to answer your important questions knowing that you done your own bit.
