Am contesting for Miss Nairaland because
1. To free myself from stress and have fun.
2. To meet new people and make friends with them.
3. To expose myself to the future and for public view.
4. To show the world the real me.
5. To encourge ladies who are shy to speak out or face the crowd to be able to speak up and stop hiding behide the scene.

Thank you.
Interesting!

How will Miss Nairaland be an actualizer for number 4 and 5

OK, good. Can you tell us why you are studying your course and what you think the society will benefit from the course?

thanks.

I want to study English as a course because that's my dream course
and secondly I'll be traveling out after my university education here to aid my brother in the school he built over there!

studying English will also help me to communicate well with their citizens!

question 2!
the society has been benefiting and will keep on benefiting from this course, because without English I doubt if there will be any country called Nigeria!..
you will agree with me that we can't communicate with other tribes without the use of English,so therefore when there is no general language like English to communicate freely with other tribes, there will be nothing like one government, unity and peace!

so,studying this unique course is strengthening the value of English in the country!

thanks.

me, lose confidence? trust me i can be very stubborn and persistent but i'm also very level headed. i know when to stop acting like you got it all covered when in actual fact you dont.

i dropped out because i knew i wouldnt be available most times ill be needed. school work is already weighing me down, my writing job was geting affected, nairaland was becoming my home, i was spending quality time here for this contest and im just a first year student and im still building my g.pa but above all, i have exams next month and i need to concentrate.

Nice. Is it the case that you never thought about all this before putting in? or you suddenly snapped out of it?

like i said, i can be very stubborn. i didnt know all this before i contested but along the linei started to realise all that i stated but i was stubborn and i didnt like letting people down. but i later realised that i was doing this for myself and myself alone so i had to make a decision.

i might add that im not so glad i opted out but i believe it was the right thing to do

How will Miss Nairaland be an actualizer for number 4 and 5

Miss Nairaland can be an actualizer for 4 and 5 in the following ways:
1. To encourage people especaily ladies to always be themselves anywhere they find themselve, never to fake themselve (ladies) to achieve any of their aims or goals in life because what you don't work for it won't last. Be yourself and let the world speak for you.

2. Talk to ladies and encourage them to be who they wants to be in future, help them to speak up that their opinion is always needed in the society, but they can't achieve all they want if they are shy and scared of what the society will say.

Thank you.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Do you think you are better or more beautiful than the other contestants?

lolz.. i dont know why but this question got me laughing

even if i felt that way i wouldnt say so here. if i did people would or might say i'm proud and give me names but honestly:

i would only say this, im beautiful, i make heads turn, i have charisma and class (dont know if they mean the same thing), im pretty intelligent and calm. other contestants should just speak for themselves. I AM ME. and i would never claim to be better than anyone because what i have you lack and what you have i lack (like big b***y wink)

question1

I think we all deserved to be crowned miss nairaland!...why?
because of the courage and boldness we took to stand and face this challenge.it's not easy because if it was,we will be numbering more than this!

but in a class of 40 or otherwise, there is no way all will take the first position no matter how smart and brilliant they are!

same applies to this competition, there must surely be a winner!and I think am in a better position to be the miss nairaland 2016!

question2
why?..because I wish to be great, though not assured of being great through this but u can agree with me that a journey of a thousand mile starts with a step!..I know I can make it.

I do not think I am better than my fellow contestants neither do I think I am more beautiful than them. As a matter of fact we are all equal in the presence of God so who am I to declare myself superior.

It is a contest and what's required of us(the contestants) is working hard in the aspect of the photo-shooting, mental aspect, Q & A etc in outsmarting ourselves. The beautiful people of Nairaland would be the judges in determining not who is more beautiful or who is more intelligent but who has succeeded in creating an ever-lasting impression. I believe we are all beautiful and intelligent and we have different strengths and weaknesses. However I strongly believe that I have what it takes to create an impression that shows who I really am and why I deserve to be Miss Nairaland. Thanks smiley
