you need to see an average Igbo man mentality... He'd rather have his account fat while him and his girlfriend/wife look haggard and unkept. You need to see them in upper iweka, Onitsha main market.

They've got no sense of style nor social life.

I served in Delta, visited my friend posted to Onitsha, we was bored so we chose to hangout later that evening. Got to the bar and met this main market guys in combat shorts and shoes, their table was littered with ONPA and they talking loud. We picked a table and ordered nothing but BIG Guinness extra stout accompanied with grills.
