The rest of the documents will come from you and their parents.

Their parents needs to add their birth certificate and letter of consent.

You need to proof that you have adequate accommodation for them and finance to support them while in the UK.

oh thanks, I grab. Will I have to separate their supporting documents or a supporting document pack will be ok for both while I fill their application individually. I meant bank statement and other. Will I make two copies each or just a copy will be ok sir since one is just slightly above 18. Thanks for ur contribution

You fill their application individually and also submit the same set of documents for both of them.

What document are you sending them and have they traveled before?

My bank account statement. Both used to live in England in the early 90s but haven't travelled in the last 15 years or more

However, my aunt has a daughter in England that is British. Also my sister is British both by birth

You need to send proof of accommodation as well but if they are going to stay with one of their grand kids then you need to indicate that.

Dear all,
thanks for all the wonderful info on the thread. Quick question please. I need to pay the tier 2 visa application fees as well as the IHS for my 2 kids, spouse and i. This amounts to £4700. I have been told by my bank that i can't use my naira master card for that transaction. What other alternative means of payment do i have?
Note: i do not have a dollar card.
Thank y'all!

How did you get on with this application? I am applying for same with spouse and also two kids, I wish to hear from you. Can you email me.
Thank you very much

Thank you so much for the good work you do here, especially when users like myself give you grief once in a while.

Lastly, how do I prove my mum is actually my mother as I lost my birth certificate a long time ago.

Hello house, @justwise, can you please clarify these for me. i am planning on travelling with my sis to london in Dec. As part of our visa application, we need to book our accommodation and we plan on staying in the same hotel room. My first question is can i make an hotel reservation using both our names and secondly, after we get our visa, is it possible for us to cancel our hotel reservation ad book another one.
Thanks

Please, if some of your children are in boarding schools or universities especially outside your town of residence, how does one answer the question of "Does this person currently live with you?"

If the answer is 'no', what address will one put where the children address is required?

If I put yes, is that not misleading?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by tunderule2016: 3:45pm On May 13, 2016
It is a Yes, Because the boarding school and university are temporary addresses not permanent.
so i would suggest you put in Yes ; that is not misleading.
More so, i believe you will be adding documents showing they are students, right?

Yes ,you can book a hotel with both your names. Book a room for 2 adults then add your sisters name as the second adult.
And Yes, you can cancel the hotel booking later provided it's free cancellation. Check the cancellation rules before you book.

You need to explain that using the blank space and also send the data page of your passport since both of your share the same last name

Yes you can do all that but check the hotel's cancellation policy before doing that, though its not really a good idea to cancel apart getting your visa.

@ifyalways is right... you can book and cancel; you are assumed to pay upon arrival.. but importantly as she state read the cancellation rules..

if you had read through the few pages backwards some site would have helped... which was posted.
check out booking.com it will be of great help..

Confused bro. It's a family visitor visa (applying for 2 yrs spending 1 month). Any need to pay for health surge or go for tuberculosis test.

Obviously before you do that you must have a reason and if by any chance you are stopped and ask at POE you will explain to them.

People don't normally cancel booked hotel just for fun.
