My friend from Enugu state is currently dating an Ikwere girl from Emohua. What they quarell about is this issue of being Igbo or not. Yet when they shout at each other, he uses his 'Nkanu' dialect while she uses Ikwere yet both can understand each other. Chibuike Amaechi, Duncan Okechukwu (Duncan Mighty), Elechi Amadi, Tonto Dike are all well known Ikwere indigenes but had not been popular, any Hausa or Yoruba who meets them will take them to be Igbo due to their last names which is as Igbo as it gets. Mind you, all of them speak flawless Igbo. Not long ago, a certain Emeka Eze was apprehended for Drug pushing, they shouted "Igbos have come again" until it came out that the man was Ikwere. So who is Igbo and who is Ikwere? The apex Ikwere organisation is the "Ogbakor Ikwere" which every Igbo knows means "gathering of Ikweres". The king of the Ikweres is the "Eze Ikwere" which everone knows means 'king of the Ikweres'. It will be a tough sell to the Ikwerre Man who speaks a dialect of Igbo as his ancestral language and has an Igbo last name to get up say 'I am distinct from Igbos'. Not even their neigbours in Rivers, the Ijaws and Ogonis, take them as anything but Igbo.

I did the National Youth Service in Port Harcourt a few years ago.

Nearly every Ikwerre lady was going for Igbos.
None Igbo coppers were left with little or nothing.

The guy you just quoted is evil and has been in this forum for ages. From one direction I hear the voice of Truckpusher, but from a sincere heart I see Omogie of old still trying to force Aniomaland into accepting Bini heritage.
