NDA should not forget that Niger deltans still need other regions to survive in terms of cultivation and Agri sustenance, The niger delta region has been polluted with a very high level of oil spillage and food is what they still need and not just oil. I am proudly NIGER DELTAN but we still need this one NIGERIA. We voted PMB so lets be his friend and get our own share of the cake just like my Yoruba brothers they know how to play Nigeria politics .

Keep dreaming. When a group of lazy minorities start agitating for their own nation they get crushed like ants.'Niger Delta republic ' what a joke!

Niger Delta will not go to war to get its sovereignty.

How can these same minorities feeding the whole nation get crushed by rag tag undisciplined and corrupt military who run away at the sight of mediocre Boko Haram fighters in Borno. The same Military that cannot venture near the creeks. They claimed they were guarding those pipelines so how did the Militants get there? Because they were not there.

Even your President has seen that he cannot win and tried to bribe us with $10M. This time we know what we want. By the time we finish bleeding this useless contraption called Nigeria, your same president will be forced to call for a Constitutional conference to determine the fate of Nigeria.

May be you will even get your Ewedu/Amala Republic then. Who knows!

1. I didn't say Ondo has 40 billion barrels reserve of bitumen (I appreciate reading and comprehension).

2. I said Ondo has roughly 40 billion barrels of 'heavy oil' (bituminous oil) and 'light oil' -- ownership of 2 types of oil.

3. The total reserves of bituminous oil/heavy oil in Nigeria is about 40-45 billion barrels, of which Ondo has about 31 billion barrels of the lot!

4. The same bituminous oil is a large chunk of Canada's production and Venezuela's!

5. Let me break your heart!!! Hold on to something tight . . . 2 years ago, it cost about $80 to produce a barrel of oil from 'tar sands' or bitumen. Breaking news: it costs about $8.50 in Canada now! Cheaper than $35 for producing crude in Nigeria's ND, cheaper/about that of Saudi!!!! Remember that quote about taking care of your towel?

Modath, Omenka, DropShot, Babacele, I want you to take note of this post, especially the link below.

Heavy oil and light oil bro.

Go to pages 9-10, I explained to folks who didn't get it already.
Well, if by heavy oil u thought, bitumen! bitumen is An extra heavy oil(API gravity of below 10 degree) while for Heavy oil, it stands between 22 and above 10 degree, though agbabu in ondo has it in large quantity like Lagos, Ogun and Edo, but agbabu's own is largest probably in the country, even at that, u must-have heard of synthetic crude! When stating reserves especially oil reserves, it must be economically and technically viable, bitumen as it is hasn't being fully harnessed by the nation, even the geologist, olusegun they once had as a governor confirmed this. Ondo still stands as one of the least producing oil states from NDDC. Still, I maintain from oil reserves(proven + unproven), ondo isn't the highest.

Continue to distract yourself. Ipob has nothing to do with this, by the time the Niger delta republic sets in, you'll be losing all the oil you've so much depended on. Get a life abeg.

Ipob doesn't need any oil to survive, they only need freedom, justice and equity not leaving with hypocrites, terrorists and bunch of religious murderers.

Then good riddance. just put it in mind you would need visa to smell lagos. i will charge you heavily as a foreigner in yoruba land.

Must I go tru lagos to get to other parts of the world?

Well, until then, let's see who charges who?.

Lolz, see na joke be this oh, but can u imagine what an all high sale of 2.4mbpd crude @ current $50/barrel, that's about N8trillion naira, bro, can u imagine what N8trillion times 5yrs will do to the lives and people of that small naija delta that is relatively smaller than a single state in south west? This 8.7trillion is excluding the IGR generated by individual states in ND.

See, bros, stop consoling urself, lagos state does not generate more than a trillion naira per year, u and I know that some of the businesses in lagos are there because of the oil in naija, infact the whole of south west states put together does not generate upto 1trillion per annum, now compare ND with close to 8trillion and tell yourself who should be visiting who.

As I talked about ND, that is how it is in biafra case, so, don't see it as doing them any favour bro.

See, I am not advocating for all these, I want to give a small mental picture of what things will look like so that u will stop seeing it as doing them a favour in staying in 1naija.

One love.

Don't be lazy . . . do some digging. Then learn to read and comprehend. Producing and reserves are too different things. Cross river for example has oil, but it is no longer included among oil producing states.
bros don't waste time with some of these folks....if only they know the extent of the spread of d oil deposit in Naija n d economic deposit for a profitable exploration/ production, viz a viz global realities ehn them go shut up

Adaka Boro is no legend but fool who decided to sell his people into slavery for crumbs
He died in shame and disgrace just like every Saboteur eventually would

Future Ijaw kids would read and learn from the foolishness of this man

Please how did he sell his people into slavery? Who exactly are his people?
In actual fact he tried to free his real people from the fraud called "One-Nigeria" but was betrayed by a neighbouring tribe which was still loving "One Nigeria". This "One-Nigeria" people fought him, got him arrested, killed his soldiers and sentenced him to death for trying to pull his people out of "One-Nigeria" fraud. But before they could execute their death sentence on him, they themselves were dethroned and killed. Those who took over power decided to release Boro unconditionally. After that the one-Nigerianists declared secession from Nigeria, and Isaac Boro decided to revenge by fighting against the one Nigerianists who earlier jailed him for the same "offence" of declaring secession. Was that how he betrayed his people and sold them into slavery? If he really sold his people into slavery by avenging Ojukwu's crushing of Niger Delta Republic, then why have his people now decided to honour him by placing his picture on their currency? Stop insulting Isaac Boro, he fought gallantly for his people unlike Zik who kept chanting "One Nigeria" while his brothers were being slaughtered by those he wanted to form his "One Nigeria" with.
