It is always very good to know one's tribe and culture. Anything about my people raises my curiosity and I want to know more. By the way, I love the Efiks and Ibibios alot cheesy. I am currently in one of your cities and your people are one exciting lot. I've learnt alot about the Eket, Annang, Oron, Ibibio, Efik, Qua, and Efut people.

Agbon is a subgroup of Urhobo. It is very close to the Agbarho central Urhobo dialect. Agbon is in Ethiope-East LGA of Delta State. We are ruled by a king known as Ovie of Agbon. The LGA headquarters is incidentally our traditional headquarters and that is a place called Isiokolo. The major towns include Okpara-Inland, Okpara-Waterside, Eku, Kokori, Ovu, Igun, Orhoakpor, etc. I am from Okpara-Inland.
. Wow! U knw a lot about ma pdople? U even knw Efut lol they are 1 of the cameroon immigrants just like the Qua Nation of the Ejagham stock. we have the larger Efut ethnic group in that country. ...Which of the town do u reside currently?

I shuttle between Uyo and Calabar on a weekly basis but I am currently in Uyo. I have been to Ikot-Ekpene, Odukpani, Eket, Oron, Abak, Ikot-Abasi, Calabar Municipal, Calabar South, parts of Akpabuyo LGA, Ukana, etc... I am almost an indigene and all these in less than a year here.

Nice to meet you!

I have always said it that Nigeria & Papua New Guinea are the worst hit countries of the tower of babel drama! sad
. Cross River State is also an example. There's a village in the state that women speaks different from men. Over 5 languages spoken in 1 LGA. Lol very funny. In calabar, an Efik or Efut man finds it difficult to understand Abakpa(Qua) language, who are the landlords of calabar Municipal council. These three tribes are the occupants of the Greater Calabar. Infact the state is a mini Nigeria.

Miscellaneous:
op..... you didn't mention a tribe called "ekpeye" in rivers. I av only seen one girl from that tribe. She was beautiful but was too desperate to become my girlfriend. I loved her though but she always felt I have other girls even when I don't and so, we had a falling out before I made a move. Please, add them to your list on another occasion. Thanks

Ekpeye is an Igboid group. Eberechi suzzette, the first lady of Rivers state is from there.

362 Yoruba
Kwara, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Kogi

I believe you are wrong and you have to find out fact first. and Yorubas are not a tribe. the hausa/fulani are not a tribe. yorubas can be found in edo and delta state.

Illiterate people find out the meaning of tribe.

what is the oba of benin name. His name is Ereduwa..

is Oduduwa a yoruba man.

Fulani is not in the list, so how come they are one of the major tribes in the north?
Did you omit it?

Bubu will not be happy about this.
fulani is there represented as :pulani , other names are: fulbe and fulfud. but my objections are with (awori) is nt a distint tribe but a subgroup of yoruba race. (Ebu) is an igala subgroup found nt only in kogi but extends to delta. Egbema, etsako, andoni etc are names of places and does nt represent a distinct tribe.its just like saying ijebu is a tribe when its universally known as a subgroup of d yoruba tribe. We need to narow down too many divisions in nigeria. The ikwere man will tell u he is diferent from ibo, where as scientific analysis will proof theres little difference.

Olright. Nice name.
I was right about the boundary thing. I think Lampese are called Unemes who are similar to the Okpameris but different.
