LeBron fans talmbout what he did is better than Durant. Have you ever seen where 3 of the top 5 picks in a draft year combine to join one team? That is like Olajuwon, M.J, Barkley combining to form a super team. What does it matter if they were 1st or 16th prior to K.D's arrival. Weren't the Cavs the owners of the best regular season record when he left? Even after seeing the Heat with Wade and Bosh were aging he came back to the Cavs who had a younger star in Kyrie knowing fully well attracting a 3rd star wouldn't be a problem so how is he better than K.D

Yes. Who love don epp? Kobe, San Antonio, LeBron have turned the hate directed their way to rings. I'm confident K.D can do the same and keep LeBron at 3

Looks like as Bogut went to the Mavs. Zaza Pachulia moved to GS. 1 year/$2.9m

Bob Myers is a phuckin genius.

29.9m for K.D and Pachulia who was a double double machine till after the all star break

While the Mavs are to pay $34m for two players who couldn't combine for 20pts last season. Smh

I honestly do not blame KD for joining the warriors,we fans that count rings are to blame any time super teams form up.

Bros, to be sincere I don't like Lebron that much but I have to admit Durant move was way worse than Lebron's

Warriors is a 73 win team before KD, Heat had 47 wins before LeBron and struggled
Warriors now have the last 2 MVPs in their primes, one of the top 5 greatest shooters, a finals mvp plus a triple double all star, Heat bin only get Big 3 and an ageing Allen
Leave that regular season record, no be majority of East dem play? Cavs then wasn't that good and were outplayed by Magic who in turn got swept by Lakers

OKC was a championship team and with the right players can be better, so is the Warriors. In fact, Warriors has a better chance of beating Cavs next season even without Durant. On the other hand, Heat then wasn't a championship side and Cavs wasn't without LeBron.
The best team for Durant would've been in the East probably Celtics or Heat sef.

I'm not saying Lebron wasn't an idiot but you're using your hatred for the king to argue with sentiments

Yes Warriors has an awesome chance beating Cavs next season but with all the trades and shuffling most teams made tho they are favourites to do it it wud be harder....
But with Kevin Durant it's way easier grin grin

It won't be as easy as your predictions. Most teams would step up seeing that the competition has risen. If Warriors should lose any game next season, it'd be a bar fest that day. Lose the ring and Curry or Durant go hear am.

My own is to see how their numbers would look like, who gets MVP next season and especially who suffers

Lol. Story for the gods / The gods oh

Durant's move was not in anyway worse. Its just a matter of people having double standards. Steph, Klay and Draymond were all drafted by the Warriors. Their financial prudence and increasing cap is why they can afford all 4. So after building the right way through the draft they can't make moves for a franchise player like K.D? Abi make K.D retire without ring? LeBron I repeat went to a 47 win team with two guys in the top 5 of his draft class. I am still waiting for someone to show me where else this has ever happened in the NBA?

So it is ok for Bron to leave a Championship team Cavs with 66 wins in a season. Than for Durant to leave a team he had only helped to a Final once after 9 years in the league

Why were Celtics and Heat the best team for Durant to go and who make una judge and jury of that.

So the Warriors should have passed on Durant to pay Barnes $23m, Durant should have moved to the East or stayed at OKC with Westbrook who becomes a UFA next year. I hear you

They won 61 games not 66 and lost in the semis to 4th placed Boston (not Magic, my mistake) who had 50 wins, the equivalent of 8th place OKC. Cavs were messed up and Lebron chickened his way out.

It depends on what appeals to you as a lover of the game. You might like brute force and power and I might like technique and finesse.

Dirk has dominated the league in his own unique way. He has a move that has been labelled unguardable. Its a common joke that the NBA ought to change its logo to his patented one legged fadeaway, you know you have been dominant when your competitors are trying to learn your move with varying degrees of success. From Kobe to LeBron to K.D the list is endless

They even met head to head to head in the playoffs and guess who ran out winners? Dirk

Talking about defense. Dirk was no defensive stopper but he played much better defense than people give him credit for and in his prime years gave you 8-10 rebounds a game. Much better 3pt shooter and free throw shooter too

I would not even talk about the fact that Malone had the privilege of playing with an all-time top 3 PG in John Stockton all his career while Dirk has mostly played with a young Nash and a past his prime Jason Kidd for less than half his career

When you talk of dominance it is also necessary to consider the caliber of competition you are facing. You brought up ALL-NBA First team appearances well In Dirk's early years he contended with Duncan, K.G, Webber etc. In the latter stages of his career you had LeBron, K.D also entering the picture. So his not making the list isn't as much lack of dominance but more on the tightness of the competitionn. He was either in the First or second team from 02-2011 and that is no mean feat

I wouldn't call Eddie Jones and Nick Van Exel badass. They were good but compare to Dirk who swept the two time defending Champion Lakers, Or beating the Spurs on their home floor in 06, A 3 time Champion over the last 6 seasons prior to when they met the Mavs for that matter.

The legendary German is too underrated and of all the guys he frequently gets compared with he has done the most with the least.

Go and check Dirk's numbers in playoff competition. Only Dirk, Hakeem, Pettit have averaged more than 25 points and 10 rebounds in the playoffs

In 14 elimination games he has scored 30 or more points, which ties him with Jerry West for most all time. Of the top 100 elimination game performances in the last 20 years, Nowitzki has had the best performances in 8 of them, more than any other player in the NBA. Dirk is arguably one of the most clutch performers of all time.

Free Baba Dirk na Legend. Me I choose him over Malone

and
Sorry for late response. I WD never HV 4given myself if I never replied
You made some excellent and salient point. Your argument beats mine hands down.
Infact, before ur posts I used to place Dirk somewhere at 4th or 5th. But now he's either tied wt Malone or at worst 5th.

Just so u know, I'm in agreement with you on placing Stockton at top3.
But believe me, malone created most of his shots. For the fact u see Stockton at all time 2nd on assist shdnt tk anything from Malone.

Well, maybe I'm a bit sentimental and biased towards Malone cos he put me at the edge of my seat for like 2straight finals against my greatest JORDAN.

He actually went pound 4 pound on scoring against Jordan in those finals.

You made mention of Dirk along with Petit and Olajuwon being the only ones in 25point 10rebound class in playoffs. It made me immediately research on Shaq, Kareem and Malone. I could swear b4 that these 3 also made it.

Unfortunately, I was wrong. Kareem did 24.3point, 10.5rebounds,
Malone did 24.7, 10.7rebounds. Meaning these two missed it by whiskers on points-stats. But they were both the closest to it.

But you obmitted Shaq from your list. He did with 25.2points, 12.1rebounds.

All in all, thanks for the lesson.

Eruditor my mvp, Loj, smooshCHN, lolawilliam, mizzzbeee, and everyone of u on this thread are wonderful.
Please Forgive my inconsistencies, for i wd rather enjoy u guys than say anything anything much.

Cheers!

Well, the latest buzz is Durant being in golden state. What can I say? In today's game its allowed. There used to be something like club-loyalty. But It been thrown away .
There used to be a time when the best players wanted to beat themselves. Now u see them wanting to play next to themselves. Can't blame Durant. Its because emphasis on greatness is now defined by rings. I'm not one of them though.

Its gonna be one of the best starting 5's the league has ever seen. I can't get angry with Durant. Im his biggest fan. He deserves a ring. Just that I never expected him to bend this far to get it.

Well Let's all c how it goes.
