There is a problem with that local muslim community in that area if their imams and elders and parents cannot get their youths to control themselves.

The problem with this muslim community is that when you use violence to sort out your problems, you lose investments, and by extension jobs and economic prosperity. And guess who would suffer it the most.

The Muslim Majoirty North better address this violence problem that they have. The rest of us non-muslims want to give muslims the benefit of the doubt when they say they are peaceful (and indeed most Muslims go about their daily business without being so intolerant). But it is the activities of a few bad eggs....eg ISIS and company that spoils the whole crate.

Especially now that oil has fallen in prices, and the only way the far North can get economic salvation is by outside investment. And no outside investor is going to invest in an area prone to easy violence over perceived ''insults''

When El rufai came the other day and wanted to regulate preaching in kaduna, the christain clerics thought he was after them. Christains are not known for actions like these and that man is not stupid. His target were fanatics and radicals that incite destruction like this and people said no led by christain clerics, so how do you deal with this?
