I remembered I have been scammed one time like that at oshodi where I bought a phone for 3.5k only for d guy to hand over a scrap to me & also called some guys to give me sweet slap to say d least so remembering that scenerio, I acted smartly this time(I think say I wise). I told d guy that I will hand over d cash to him after he hands over d phone to me on d bike & d bike will take off to avoid a recurrence of what I experienced at oshodi. He agreed & we called a random bike man.I climbed d bike, he gave me the phone & I gave him d money & zoom I instructed d bike man. After some distance, I looked back & I saw d guy smiling so I smiled back & also waved him with my 32 teeths widely opened.Immediately I got to d bus stop at Ikeja under bridge, I entered sango bus direct & I was happy I now have a gd phone for just 6.5k. All this while I did not check d phone I was holding not until I got to iyana ipaja where I feel it is safe to check d phone.
I press d end call button but no light showed up so I was thinking it must have been switched off by d guy. So as I pressed switched on button, I noticed one white object popping out & I was like what is this? I smelled it cos it stained my hand & I found out that it is fufu. I opened d phone & saw how fufu was packaged as phone for me. The man for my side just dey look me dey laugh. I no fit talk self, I just jejely put am for my pocket dey go house. Na so them take sell fufu for me for 6.5k

FASTPAYFOREX. d guy's name is frank......he introduced the site to me that is really making money there but I later got to know that he is d owner of the site. How do I get to know? All the information I used on the site to register, he successfully used same to accessed my email n added his email as one of the alternative email to my email, but I quickly removed d removed d email and changed my password.

I met a fake genevieve nnaji on facebook and she quickly accepted my friendship request and we started chatting. The next day she sent me a message that I ve won a gift for being a loyal fan. The messaage contains phone number of the delivery courier agent. I called the courier person and he confirmed to me that my packge is on hold cos I needed to pay some cash to sort out delivery he charged 10k. I sent him 5k with a promise to pay balance on delivery. Na so I take enter one chance. At the end I discovered fake ms nnaji Don scam me. Anyways I learnt my lessons. One has been texting me to update my atm otherwise them go block am. I ve told him to go ahead cos he is a scammer.

Na so my bros gimme him HTC to swap for q5. I net this guy, he took me upstairs. I sat at where seem to be his shop he hands me a q10 and asks me to pay 40k for it (just came out then). Na so I say I wan swap with my HTC m7 and I go add money join... we agreed on 10k na so I collect fone, give am money dey wan dey go... as I reach downstairs na him he say he no sell again say ekeh (police) don dey come my side. Na so he give me my assumed money and I collect my fone back. Only to take few steps and check the actual money... Oh boy na NICELY FOLDED PALI o. I juz enta cab go house and keep the carton. That was the only time tho. Could have been any one sha.

Have not been scammed before because, I am not a greedy person. In December, 2014 I nearly fell into their trap. I was on my way to see my neighbour at new garage, Gbagada. I just saw one guy, he walked up to me. Asking about one street, I told him I don't know. I left him, another guy just held my hand telling me, we should help that guy, it was as if i was hypnotised, I now told him since you know the street take him there. Hw said we will make like 20k if we should help him. Let us all take a bike and locate this place he is going to. I just said, I don't know you and I don't need the money. That was how God saved me, if not they would have stolen my Samsung Galaxy tab 4 and money on me. I told my neighbour, he said I am damn lucky.
In conclusion, being prayerful and not being greedy made me not to fall a victim.

One Nairalander and his father had a structural problem and their buildings were cracking terribly. So they got my contact from Nairaland and called me to solve it for them.
After I solved it, the father who has been calling me from time to time from abroad called me one day that he needed me to help him get his goods from the airport.
I was reluctant but just to be of help to a man who I consider my client, I didn't know such a man who owns buildings will try to dupe a young Engr like me.

So I helped him to settle some bills on his goods to the tune of 180k. Only to discover that he connived with people to dupe me.

Why it doesn't pain me is that I know his houses both his family house and his ongoing projects as well as his son's own. So they will pay it back in a bigger way.

Truly, greedy is what makes most of us become victims of fraudsters. I had my experience here on this platform with one guy whose name is Garba. He uses 08144530300. I don't know how many people the idiot duped but it is because, those of us who were victims "were" greedy then.
Many will remember him. He post glo and mtn banner and lied that he is selling data at one ridiculous prices like saying 6gig of Glo is N2,000.
I transfer card to this guy and after the transfer, the idiot stopped picking my calls.

Another one is the one that says MTN is giving N10,000 for N1,500 recharge. That looks genuine, but alas!!! it was genuinely fake.

These activities are making people to loose trust in some post in Nairaland.

Admin should please do something. There are still genuine sellers\buyers on this platform, but these nefarious and heinous activities will make the platform useless for such purpose.
