RRoyaId: Packing and Handling.. That was what raised my suspicion. And dont worry, no be hunger matter, some of you are just believe things too easily. click on this link and read the requirements for importing Fruits and Vegetables into Europe and tell me if you wouldnt think twice about Obianos claims. https://www.cbi.eu/market-information/fresh-fruit-vegetables/buyer-requirements/ http://exporthelp.europa.eu/thdapp/taxes/show2Files.htm?dir=/requirements&reporterId1=EU&file1=ehir_eu14_03v001/eu/main/req_sporgan_eu_010_0612.htm&reporterLabel1=EU&reporterId2=NL&file2=ehir_nl14_03v001/nl/main/req_sporgan_nl_010_0612.htm&reporterLabel2=N |

MadCow1: A 30mins TV documentary on the project showcasing their network of farms and farmers in the project, how the harvests are picked up and moved to the packing centre where they are sorted out and packaged then loaded up into trucks heading out to the Airport! This will be a good PR for the project. They need to visit Kenya to understudy how their horticulture exporters run things and they are always eager to show off their operations on TV because it is marketing for them. Can't forget one of those exporters showing the network of their Avocado farmers, how it is being harvested and transported to their packing centre with over 60 staff working there maintaining the best standard of hygiene, The Avocados being sorted, washed, dried, cartoned and loaded into 40ft contaiiners and headed to the port! Anambra State can go further 4 Likes 1 Share

Some folks are really stupid and I wonder how their brains work. The governor mentioned the name of the company that handles the logistics of exporting these vegetables. And you are here asking for pictures. If Sahara reporters really did an investigation, they should have visited the company that handled the exportation and also confirm from European countries were these goods were exported to. But the lazy journalists in Sahara reporters chose to sit on a bench in front of a computer for their yeye investigation. 10 Likes |

temptnow: Bia nwata, Elders are having a conversation here.. If you can't read, understand and keep up with the line of discussion, do well and stay out of it or quote someone in your intellectual range. Why should I be jealous? Is Anambra not my State? I am questioning the veracity of the Governors claims and you are here yarning dust. Please keep up with this debate or stay out of it. Thanks. 2 Likes |

Aerial shot of some of the farms in Anambra north area. Many people do not know that Anambra have riverrhine areas particularly in the northern part of the state. You can see from afar that the land is well cultivated. Irrigation is being used here........... These areas are well guarded against the menace of herdsmen.. 9 Likes

Pavore9: FHCUK ME SIDEWAYS!!!! Finally someone gets it.. There is alot to be disired from the photos being shared by the Government. Nothing in the Handling and Packing says those produce are fit for the European Market apart from the fact that it is organic. Imagine those Niggas picking up Vegetables off of the ground, stuffing them in boxes and sending them off to Europe. People should Watch Border security and see how containers or produce get rejected and incinerated for little issues like soil presence or rottening or Bugs and insects or even non-compliance with EU import rules. 1 Like 1 Share |

Here is another farm at the bank of the river overlooking a community in Otuocha............ But some people will still want us to show them the farmers themselves for verification.......continue! These farms are well secured because of intruders like herdsmen that may come to destroy it, that is why aerial shots gives a better view! 5 Likes

Nigerians dwell over the most stuupid things; why should it be anyone's business if the volume of export of Ugu and Olugbu isn't up to $5m?... The most important thing about this story is that vegetables are being exported out of Nigeria in LARGE quantity. This is an initiative which can only grow and get better; if it isn't up to $5m today, it will definitely get to that level and exceed with time. Before now who ever believed Ugu or Olugbu could be cash crops?... This is an initiative that should be encouraged and more states should key into this. 6 Likes |
