Dh and I were on our way home when we passed by this roadside faaji /party. .....don't know what they were celebrating but I spied the jollof rice. Told Dh to park that I must eat jollof. Went straight to the service person with my big bump to ask for rice. The woman looked me up and down. ...I obviously didn't belong in the setting; wasn't dressed up. She gave me the jollof o and I gleefully ate it .Dh was so embarrassed that day

but my doctor refused o. And I got the teas from Wal-Mart store.

Abeg Google the teas o. Cos by 35 weeks I was so tired of being pregnant and was ready to do anything.

I think those teas helped. Cos I dilated so fast d nurses kept asking me what I did and trust naija in me, I just tell them nothing o, na God.

DH and I drove to my mum's place around 10.30pm just because of village 'Okpa' and banana. my saving grace is just that my parents live very close to us....
The other day i almost entered my neighbour's house to beg for White rice + fish stew, despite the fact that i have stew in my freezer o.....The aroma of that fish stew was sometin else, i had to restrain myself seriously b4 the woman go think say i don kolo.

On saturday we were in spar (the one at ceddi plaza) to buy water dispenser as dh said we are spending too much on bottled water (I can drink up to 7 bottles in a day), while in the elevator, I perceived chicken and chips, without shame and not minding that there were other people with us in the elevator, I asked dh "is it just me or do I perceive chicken and chips". Lol! The eye where him take look me ehn! Hehehe

Let's just say him no rest till him buy me southern friend chicken - chicken and chips

On sunday I told dh that if I dnt eat roasted corn, I might fall sick. Lol. D man just tell me to carry my wahala to where I usually buy my corn.

Yesterday I went all the way from Apo to Gwarimpa just cos I wanted to eat abacha and my family friend told me they sold it close to her house. See as I take rush baff!
Then I ate bread and tea, boiled ground nut, cake, had chicken and chips, abacha, corn, plenty water, akara and pap

Today na sugarcane I de find. And e no de my area....be like I go find am go utako market today....hmmm

Make God help me o!

But I can't seem to control my hunger.
If I don't eat every 2hrs ehn, my own is finished
Headache, exhaustion, severe hunger, will just overwhelm me

If I'm leaving my house to anywhere, there must be biscuit, pringles or any snack I can find plus water in my bag oh. I even take it to church too sef

Cos when the hunger starts, I begin to look stupid and confused

5. Babythug- **

I greet you All my Sisters and mothers. ...it's been a wonderful journey so far. It may not have been completely perfect but there have been abundant reasons to be thankful to God who has done exceedingly well to bring us this far.....of course he didn't bring us this far to abandon us

We should all be in week 37, 38, 39 and some approaching week 40 already....that means any of us can have our babies at any time from now,(babies are considered term from 37weeks) so we should all be ready. ..mum and baby essentials at least for the first 1month bought already. Baby should have been head down by now to increase our chances at trying a VD. ..

We will do our best to cooperate with our Doctor's and midwives as much as possible while we continuously pray for the best team to be with us on that day! When not sure of a suggestion by a Doctor or midwife , don't hesitate to come here to weigh the suggestions so as to be better guided.
Our goal has been mother alive, baby alive and father rejoicing. ...so whatever measures need to be taken to make that possible should be fully supported(CS included) ...
Please start your walks if you haven't already done so. Increase your kpekusing too if DH is readily available too. You can also do squats to help exercise the pelvic floor muscles tho it's not so easy cos of bump heaviness and pains in the legs.
That being said. ...wishing you ALL the best and nothing but the best.

I am 38wks +4days today. . .am excited and anxious. ..it's not been easy. ..started Maternity leave on Monday as I was over tired of preparing for work every morning. House chores have become a great deal of work too ...just managing to keep up. My baby's bag has been packed. ..but mine has not yet but I will do so once I return from ANC today...I do my walks at least 45mins too in the evening ...
I am ready for labour! !! Yes I am.....I want to hold my own baby and nurture with love .

Well done/thank you for the many gingerings....

Haven't been myself for a few weeks. Just anxious and tired. I've had like three VEs( funny enough, its not as uncomfy as my first VE experience) and i'm still not actively dilating *sighs* . Cannot kpekus because DH isnt here and i'm allergic to pineapples. The walking i'm only able to do like once a week...

As per bags i've packed, but i'm worried i've left something out just cant figure out what it/they could be!

Hope everyone else is keeping fit?

For those who are able, this is a good time to do some bulk shopping and stocking of food items and bulk cooking where possible. To ease stress after baby's arrival! It's also good to have a pack of biscuits,chinchin or groundnuts and maybe a crate of soft drinks or malt for entertainment of guests in the house from now!

Congrats to the mamas that have offloaded for now!

Love to all and the songs of celebrations shall be in our homes this month in Jesus name( Amen)
