Teething challenges.
No wahala.

nysot:

I visited some farms and they said they would put me on their list but wouldn't start immediately.
The other farm that agreed they could start supplying me immediately said they would be giving me about 20-30crates which is way too small to the demand.
I calculated what it would cost me to transport from the farm and deliver to clients, fueling the car and paying my driver..Mehn,nothing left afterwards oo,I just paused jejely.
When I'm in S/L I can come to your office then, from there we can discuss further.

If you have followed this thread carefully, you would have benefited from my own story. Long and short of the whole issue, due to the need for a car and funds needed as detailed by my feasibility study, I delayed commencement of this investment.
However when I started, few weeks later I have to abandon the car and resorted to using Keke which was more suitable for me. And my income has been on the increase ever since.

This is where creativity and innovation comes in.
However, there is no business that is saturated inside out.
While some distributors offer their stuffs to retailers many have infused some businesses into it to make it a success.

Think and grow rich.

Egg distribution is not a ''mere'' business for the lily hearted.
It takes a lot just like any other business there is. Your thinking cap must be on to do things differently. Over the last few days we are have been brainstorming with some fellows on the direction to take egg distribution in the nearest future and we have seem so many things that are possible yet out of reach to some Nigerians.

As I write, I have N500,000.00 [five hundred thousand naira] advanced by an angel investor to take or to reject. The truth is that this fund has made me think more than I have been accustomed to until recently in this area. God help me.

BUSINESS FUNDING, LOANS AND CAPITAL
Dear reader, please read and digest this write up carefully, also note that there are bonuses at the end of the write up for serious minded business men and women, happy reading
After conceiving a business idea an entrepreneur needs money to commence business operation, capital plays an important part in commencing a business or expanding an expanding an existing business. Business idea without CAPITAL is FRUSTRATION. However in starting a business, some expenses are incurred which requires money, the expenses include
a. Pre-operation expenses which include payment for
legal/registration of business, payment for consultancy services as well as payment for running around. In some cases this may also include payment for training.
b. Initial working capital, this is used to pay for consumable factors/inputs, a venture can not be functional even after installing the fixed assets until these expenses are incurred.
c. Operating cash flow or working capital. Business needs minimum level of cash to run.
How does entrepreneur source for funding in Nigeria?
An entrepreneur can source for fund through
1. Owner’s Equity
2. Loans
3. Grants

Pls note there is an offer at the end of the write up
1. Owners Equity: This is the owner’s fund contribution in business. It is also called risk capital. This is the most reliable source of funding in business. For it put less pressure on the entrepreneur even if the business failed.
This money is raised from past savings of the entrepreneur. It may be contribution from friends, relations etc. The important thing is that there is no commitment of repayment on the entrepreneur.
2. Loans: This is a facility given to the entrepreneur with
obligation to pay the sum and accrued interest at an agreed date, This can be sourced from the private sources or financial institutions such as microfinance houses or commercial banks, It is not the best source of financing new business, because the payment put pressure on the entrepreneur and the business, Where it could not be totally avoided entrepreneur should be careful in taken it. As alternative to this option, a starter is advisee to take up apprenticeship to gather knowledge as well as money to
start business,

Types Of Loans
a. Short term loan: This is the type of loans with repayment period of less than six calendar months. This is the popular type offered by micro banks and venture capitalist. They are usually sourced to finance working capital and ventures with short term gestation. They usually attract payment of interest at high rate.
b. Medium term loan: The duration of payment for this facility does not exceed twelve months. Both commercial banks and micro finance institutions are reluctant to grant this type of facility because they need fund to run their own businesses. They avoid anything that will tie down their article of trade (money).
c. Long term loan: This type of facility is repaid after two years or more. It is sourced for capital projects, it is usually provided by specialized banks such as Bank of Industry, NEXIM etc; small scale business entrepreneur may not be able to access this type of loan because of stringent conditions attached to it.
d. Overdraft: This is a facility that allows an entrepreneur to withdraw more than what he/she has in his account. It is an arrangement between the bank and it customers to withdraw above the balance in the account. It is approved from the appropriate authority in the bank. It is usually for few days or weeks. Micro finance and commercial banks offer this type of facility which is subject to renewal.
e. Syndicated Loan: This is a practice whereby two or more lending financial institutions agreed to provide fund to finance large project, usually a consortium of banks as creditors package such loan with one of the banks as the leading bank.
f. Trade Credit: This refers to different trade arrangement
between sellers and buyers whereby payment for goods purchased is postponed till agreed date.
Please note there are bonuses at the end of the write up

g. Loan from Credit/Thrift cooperative societies
These associations/organizations are formed to provide credit to their members at affordable/concessionary interest rate compared to what obtained at the money market. Small scale entrepreneurs are encouraged to belong to their associations to enjoy this facility.
h. Equipment Leasing: This involve arrangement between the financial institution and its clients, whereby the institution agreed to purchase fixed asset such as equipment/machine for its client who repay the cost of this equipment and interest accrued on it over an agreed period of time. This arrangement checkmate diversion of credit to other uses.
3. Grants :government and non-government organizations sometimes give grants to potential entrepreneurs to start small businesses. This is an allowance that a government or an organization gives to support small business creation in the country. Examples include grants given by federal government, state government, local governments, international bodies through their different youth
empowerment programmes.
So do you have business ideas or investment you want to embark on but lack the capital to carry on your ideas?
Are you in search for small business loan or avenues in which you can finance your business ideas in Nigeria
Relax because in this package I will real to you avenues in which you can access loan here in Nigeria without collateral.
PRINCIPLES OF LENDING
Majority believe that in accessing loan or credit facilities the major thing is the COLLATERAL. Dear reader the main factor in accessing loan or credit facility is VIABLE BUSINESS. If have a viable business paying back your loan can not be a problem except if you are not willing to pay back despite the fact that the business is viable and profitable.
Now we know in accessing fund or loan or credit facility viable business is the key, however apart from having a viable business these elements are also important
1. CHARACTER
2. CAPACITY
3. COLLATERAL
1. CHARACTER: The character or attitude of the applicant is very key in accessing loan or credit facility, applicant should come to the table with a clean and sincere heart but the reverse is the case, over 70% of applicant come with fraudulent mind or character, research has shown that out of ten(10) customers that enter the banking hall, three (3) came in with genuine mind while the remaining seven (7) came with fraudulent mind. This write up cant explain divers dimensions of human character in accessing, however my advice for my dear reader go to the table with a genuine and transparent mind, lies will certainly take you no where.
2. CAPACITY: Here we need to know the financial capacity of the applicant, from my experience, people ask for money they don’t need, to buy what they don’t need and to impress who is not looking at them. Eg A client came to me that he needs #1billion loan to import AGO popularly called Diesel, he was really sugar coated after his sugar coated mouth, I asked him some technical questions and gave give thorough interview, after my interview with and series of questions, I discovered that the man has not done a business of #100,000 before in his life,I mean one hundred thousand naira and such person is asking for one billion naira, such person lack experience and financial intelligence, how will he manage it, if you borrow such person #100billion, in no time the person will squander the money. Some can conveniently manage #100,000, some #1,000,000 and some #10,000,000, WHAT IS YOUR CAPPACITY.
3. COLLATERAL: This is the last part, majority of the loan applicants consider this to be the first but in the real sense, its not so, it will usually seen as the last resort available to a bank or finance after due verification and critical assessment of a loan application. The collateral is required or needed to keep the applicant on his toes.
BONUSES
1. In the next FREE EBOOK, I will be explaining places where you can get loan up to #2million without collateral with one week for your business, simply send your email to smartideas170@gmail.com with the LOAN EBOOK
2. Do you have a viable and profitable business that requires funding or loan? Do you need LPO financing? Or do you have a viable business project but lack funding or capital we will fund you within 24hrs with or without collateral. BUT…………………………
P.S 1 The proposal is strictly for serious minded business men and women, not sugar coated people or theorist that believes in profit in paper. We believe in PROFIT in REALITY not PROFIT in PAPER.
P.S 2 The business or the supply can be in any part of the country but we must meet and conclude in our office in Lagos so that we can be sure of the business and our commitment.

Few weeks back, I made mention of my little accident.
After that incident, few of the crates that fell but didn't break were picked and the egg-fluid dripping from the crates touched a whole lot of others. I did use water to clean them up and supplied. Most of the affected ones were the Jumbo size that I do sell directly to families.

Fast forward last weekend, some of the families who bought those set of eggs came back with complaints that some of them got spoilt. At least 5 were said to have gone bad as reported by about 7 different families.

Recalling what happened, I have to apologize and have replaced some of them.

The Info:
Avoid using water to clean your eggs.
I did it on a large scale and got the report from more than seven clients that an average of 5 units of eggs went bad on each crate.

If you witness such incident, kindly use a dry cloth to clean the eggs to avoid stories that........................

Whenever a crate of egg is before you, with your own eyes you would have identified the various sizes.
Backwards a bit, just visit an egg retailers outlet, via your eyes note the sizes of they have in crates for sale and model your ''sorting'' in view of what you have seen.
