You can read the exact reason for the ban on the screenprint that was posted by "tornpant" in some previous post here...although also his tornpant(s) got burned/banned... You can also check on him by email

Seun, I think you have to address this banning issue. What's the limit for a crime? Do all offense bear same ban length? You'd need adjustments if you want to be number one forever. I was banned for posting off topic. What do you think about it? What does off topic even mean?

On the homepage we see insults on the President and different tribes on threats not talking about insulting the president or tribes and these comments go on. There's Afonja, OSU, Daura President etal. This country is tensed enough and as the humanist your transition to atheism suggests it's best to do your part.

You may not be able to change Nigeria but you can change here. You can make here better. Personally I hate to see hate around me. I believe as humans we ought detest hate. The last time I was banned for misrepresenting the reason for which I was previously banned. Look into this. Life and afterlife is not really what a lot of us think.

Although I don't support calling names, it's clear that overall this forum is worse than Orwell's farm. No critical sounds whatsoever allowed. No serious response of the leader on topics that need attention. Never seen such a crappy forum having so many members and 90% existing of copy/paste nonsense....

I often ponder same thing. Initially I responded with anger but now I know it should be pity instead.

My criticism comes from understanding but often times when I understand a portion of the whole, it melts into pity. I'm beginning to accept no one does wrong willingly.

People have brains and we must make no attempt to assume they don't use them—that's my new position. When they honestly do what appears unreasonable our empathy ought suffice.

He has his reasons. He knows better. But reason is nothing if it doesn't address poor logic or what seems like it. Humans know humans think but humans also want to know if they reasoned.

I'd like to weigh his defense with my reason to make sure I'm not the one in the wrong. I love truth so much. Even if this truth is not the right action or doesn't seem like it to me, I can at least respect the honesty. We can start another journey.

If only Seun can tell us/me(logically) why he allows these powers to operate, I can then bow and receive the punishment a morally incapacitated ignoramus deserves, which is, the exposure of this vice he must have shown I live with.

Honestly speaking, I don't think I should ever get any ban on any Forum. I've risen above so many laws. This is not my ego speaking. I find it hard to follow any thread anymore. Very little or no substance in arguments. Insults everywhere. It is not fair. We are better than this. We can be better than this. Legacy matters. And if it matters our actions here matter too.

I hate labels because I keep learning new things every time and it's going to be stressful announcing my new affiliations every time . . . But for now you could call me an agnostic theist/deist, I completely disregard the popular religions as hogwash and as for politics, I don't really have a side because they're all the same pieces of shit repackaged in different ways. . . I just want good governance. The Indonesian wailers can get annoying asf though

So they have finally fried and electrocuted our brother (& my first real source of joyous astonishment in any religious/myths gathering) to the point of no return.
Even after some pleas to Seun to look into the issue, nothing was done & me..brother finally lost it & ended the torture.

This bitterness happened to him because [of his love for NL] he allowed himself to be swayed in too much and become fully attached to the Matrix of Nairaland.
Now he has become unplugged...hope the mods have learnt their lessons because it can happen to anyone, even me..self (though am not plugged in)

It is worth it- if you have an offline group tied to the forum. I am good at organising such.

Seun/nairaland didnt kill my vibe/energy for creating such groups. It was your brother.



As for nairaland, I can only shake my head at its wasted potential........
