I may be wrong but I don't think that particular phrase she quoted is a curse, That chapter was about d destruction of Babylonians and God was telling them that since they derive joy in their own pleasure and did not follow his way, boasting in their own power, therefore whatever they think they can avert will surely happen to them. That phrase is d confession she was trying to talk about. But when we say it, we should let our boast be in the Lord.

Please I apologize in advance for derailing this thread, but this is my dilemma; I prepared correct native soup yesterday only for the uziza I put in it to bitter it. Before I put the uziza, my soup was on point, but I think the uziza was too much, causing it to change the entire taste of the soup. If I had cooked with bitter leave, it would have been understandable, poor hubby says I shouldn't worry, he will eat it like that, but mummies, is there anything I can do to salvage my soup at least a little, throwing away big pot of soup in this buhari era isn't funny.

Heavenly Father, We come to Your throne of mercy with our humble souls, we ask for the forgiveness of our sins in words, thoughts and actions, forgive us Oh Lord. Lord God, we pray for Your divine guidance and protection over each and everyone of us, our husbands, our children(born and unborn), our families and all our well wishers, we will not have any cause to mourn and cry over ourselves. Our pregnant sisters will birth with ease at the right time, our ATC sisters will conceive with ease henceforth and our nursing mums will nurse and care 4 dia LOs with ease.
