Innoson? How many you don buy? Those cars are new and expensive jare.....people will rather buy "tokunbo"

Una get that one for Enugu too tongue

the problem with innoson, is little or no awareness, unavailability of spare parts compared to toyota and less partnership with companies, if these are properly put in place, this can make ppl 4get to buy toyota

oh God !!!

They spent these money
On crude oil, mechanics ( alloy) and plastic

Because it is not in abundance in their country

We may be impressed about China's manufacturing prowess but it's not all that it seems!

China is still a developing country and many of the good produced there should simply state "well assembled in China". A lot of the high tech components are imported especially from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. China has massive trade deficits with these countries.

It was estimated about 5years ago that China only contributed 5.3% to the value of the iPhone which is manufactured there. Most of the highest parts are imported. It is even manufactured in China by a Taiwanese company by the name Foxtronn that has over a million workers in China.

Due to rising costs in China, it is setting up factories in Inland China where wages are much lower that those of coastal cities.

China technical prowess is however rising and it's becoming a thorn in Taiwan's flesh as its encroaching in many of the high tech industries where the Taiwanese were world leaders.

China's protectionist ways is not to be praised but condemned. There is nothing wrong with importing as long as you export. A win lose scenario that China pursues never ends well.

Presently its economy is trying to refinance from manufacturing to services. This won't be easy but they have started

Even if you have something in abundance, you may still be a massive importer of that stuff.

America has cotton in abundance but it is a massive importer of textiles because it's labour costs are extremely high. Textile manufacturing is suited for poor countries where labour is cheap. Textile manufacturing is labour intensive with labour constituting as high as 66% of the cost of textiles.

We may be impressed about China's manufacturing prowess but it's not all that it seems!

so you are telling me they are decieving us right?
you sound just like the Americans, now i see the reason why you condemn cctv too ( because it's not bbc or cnn )

the chinese love their xiaomi smartphone more any smartphone , and we both know the reason why Iphone is manufactured there and like i said earlier majority of these parts are alloy and plastic

Due to rising costs in China, it is setting up factories in Inland China where wages are much lower that those of coastal cities.

this is simply law of demand and remember we are talking about the largest population in the world and the fact that they are manufacturing doesnt mean everything will come cheap

China technical prowess is however rising and it's becoming a thorn in Taiwan's flesh as its encroaching in many of the high tech industries where the Taiwanese were world leaders.
i dont understand

China's protectionist ways is not to be praised but condemned. There is nothing wrong with importing as long as you export. A win lose scenario that China pursues never ends well.

one of the disadvantages of over population

the fact that they are doing this doesnt make it the best option

I'm only stating the obvious and asking a question. I know GLO dey try in some areas with data and call rate so I no comment but innoson motors, that's k-leg if you can't provide cheap cars like what henry ford did or you provide a flexible payment system that an average Nigerian earning 80-120k/month can afford. Who no like new car but where the money dey?
As per Konga, just tell them to release the money they are owing me first biko before I comment on their own matter cox they ain't manufacturers but e-commerce sites.

Truth is Nigerians really want to patronize indigenous companies BUT, there are lot of issues

Most services provided by indigenous companies are annoying!!!!!
The cost sometimes are very high compared to shipping from other countries

It all boils down to the fact that Nigeria has no institution or structure......nothing works here....those who have tried to do "proudly Nigeria " have bitten their fingers.

By the way, Konga doesn'tmanufacturer, they assist in helping people like baba infinitikoncept to sell their imported products cheesy

Glo's data and voice service could be very annoying in some areas....forget cheap rates....Nigerians like quality services

Innoson, me I actually want new car but I don't have the money......how have they helped?

like bookie said he is importing the parts and i think dats y d spare parts are nt readily available, by d way how long has konga been owing u? When i was into konga, they were paying 5 working days after delivery, And d fact that they r e-commerce site gives them d opportunity 2 b popular like amazon, ebay, newegg and d likes if we give dem maximum support. Instead of us looking 4 how 2 buy dollar and harvest it when it is ripe, we should put all those money in the shares of the companies we have in country as investors are pulling out
