guys I noticed something surprising today on fiverr.

I was bored today so I decided to carry out a little research on fiverr.
I requested a gig, not because I needed any service but because I wanted to gauge some certain parameters such as :
how long does a request last before sellers reply, how do sellers approach buyers (as in what language they use), are sellers willing accept less money than the actual worth of a service etc.


but what caught eye was that a seller replied me via inbox. I was really surprised but I didn't know it was possible to chat with a buyer who didn't approach you first. I checked and he was a newbie; not rated yet.
guys how do you think he pulled this off?

It's easy. Just copy the username of the supposed buyer, and run a search on it using fiverr search engine, it will take you straight to his/her profile where you can contact him/her using the "contact" button.

Okay it's time to share my testimony. Started writing for Nairalanders around May ending. Discovered this thread since March or so. Couldn't join Fiverr due to NYSC postponement and all their wahala.

Finally redeployed after camp successfully last month. Joined Fiverr last month. After 12 days, I got my first order (direct contact). She has been been giving me work regularly. I have only used buyer's request once and I also got work from that person. My sales are usually $10 on the average.

Got my Level One badge last week exactly 1 month after I joined Fiverr.

Shout out to Beatzone and others who help on this thread.

For newbies offer more for less eg. 1000 words for $5 and always offer 24 hours delivery so as to beat other competitors.

You can increase your rates later.

You can't even find the "contact" on a buyer's profile ... How do you now contact him?

In the case shared above, the guy is a seller and thus any seller can contact him just by searching his name but doesn't work when the person who requested the gig has just a buyer profile...

Best advice? Don't accept the order.... this won't work with whiteboard, 2D or 3D explainer video will work.... But if you want story that touches the heart, you can accept sha.

This is possible if you have a picture on your profile, I do it sometimes.
just right-click on the sellers' photo and click on inspect element, the sellers username is the alt tag value.

It's possible, if you're also a seller. but if you're just a buyer (that's you do not have any active gig) a seller cannot contact you except you've bought his or her gig before or have created a conversation in the past. However anyone can see your profile and also see the contact button but won't be able to contact you if you're absolutely a buyer.

skrill is better than PayPal and payoneer
But don't use more than one account because skrill will block your account with money nothing like come back after 90 days..
Sometimes it is more than 1.99$ but the amount deducted will be added to your balance, just make sure you know how much Dey deducted in dollar dassall

After getting his profile name and checking his profile, u won't fine "contact" link if he's a buyer and doesn't have a seller profile
