I am to participate in a debate in one of my courses..philosophy to be precise...which is a 3-unit course..
I am to support the notion which says "GOD DOES NOT EXIST"..But now am confused.. Should I reject it and fail or deny GOD with my proclamation and pass...

O p take the topic of there's no way to change it read, get your points and "A" the course.. God is not stupid.. It's the hearth it looks at... Just by the fact you feel this bad, he knows you love him... So what do you say about God fearing soldiers who fight and kill at war afterall God said they shall not kill..

A pastor taught me philosophy when I was in 100 level,he said it to our faces that to understand the course,you have to put aside your beliefs.....so go ahead with ur debate and stop thinking like a 5-year old.

OP, I'm sorry, but you should be ashamed of yourself, with this question here, you are not intellectually worthy to study the beautiful discipline called Philosophy.
I hope you know the meaning of 'Philo' and 'Sophia'.

You talk as if philosophy is all about denying God. Are there no philosophers who affirmed the existence of God? St. Augustine, St. Aquinas, etc are philosophers and they argue for existence of God. Philosophy involves rational thinking, believe what you want and argue for it. Stop making it sounds its unphilosophical to believe God exists.
