Mamas who had serious fibroid pains while preggy pls how did you handle or take care of the pain?

Will the pain resolve on its own When?

Menhhh, carrying a pregnancy with fibroid can drive one crazy. been in a lot of pains since yesterday evening and paracetamol doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. Just coming from scan center and they said i've just developed 3 fibroids. one is big while the other 2 are small.
how come? it was only one very small one that scan has ever detected & it was at 12wks.

My Dr just prescribed tramadol, but i googled and saw its under category C in terms of safety in pregnancy & is not generally safe. so i ditched it.

Pls how can i help myself get over this pain?

There ve not been any complication of any kind since I took in and several scans I did shows baby is very fine and cephatically presented. I am thinking i shld try VD before any other option but right now am so confused. Note: am 37yrs.

Plz I need candid advice from my e-family. Don't mince words, jst tell me your mind d way it is. D highest opinion I ll take as my final decision. Dh says anyone I want we ll go for it.

Tramadol is a very "tough" drug to prescribe to a pregnant woman, your baby could get addicted to it invitro which will result in withdrawal syndrome when born! Another less complicated drug should have been prescribed.

Try and bare the pain while doing some home remedy like..
Drinking lots of water
Getting enough rest
Warm compresses on the site of the pain.

You should ask you doctor for another safer analgesic for the pain! That Tramadol is too complicated biko. Sorry for the pain.

what I know is that your baby is a "precious baby" to them as they use to call ttcved babies. they always want to avoid story that touches.

they don't want mother and baby to go through any stress that will warrant emergency cs and during the process of preparation another thing will now come up.

and couple with your age as an elderly primip you are prone to so many of this conditions in pregnancy. And there are some that won't even manifest until late pregnancy period.

Please follow whatever your doc said on that.

Other mamas will touch light on the matter.

Nennynj,

Your doctor does not want any stories at all. If I were you, I won't even think of a VB. I will opt for CS. The reasons: Age and the no of years of TTC.

My anties dat had babies at about your age didn't even think twice. We all supported dem for the CS.

Pick your date and go for it. No need to even wait till EDD, once baby is full term (37wks), be ready to embrace your baby.

Bath foreign 12k,17k and 25k naija 2500,3000,6000,

Wardrobe plastic 8500, 13000.
Wooden 33.

Hanger (evergreen) 8000
Those type used by saloon people 2500,3500.

Flannel 2500-4000. Depends on quality.

Nennynj older women are advised to go for Cs due to risk of having a prolonged labour which could eventually lead to baby distress. To be on the safer side was why your doctor suggested the elective but then many much older than 37 have had a successful vaginal delivery.
Secondly are you overweight or obese? If yes just jejely go for the cs.

May God make it easy for you.

@ nennynj, when I was 30wks pregnant my midwife directed me to see gynae in order to discuss my birth plan coz of my history (I ttc for 4yrs with two MCs and was admitted for PROM at 22wks) so she doesn't want to take chances. When I met with gynae he z based on my current scan there is nothing stopping me from VD except something comes up in later scans and so far everything has been OK.
Am thinking the reason your gynae suggested CS is coz of ur age, I read somewhere that age also matters in choosing birth plan, they don't like taking chances with older patients.
Whichever plan you decide to go for it will all end in praise. You will celebrate with me and I will also celebrate with you ijn.

Dear mama, please please and please, follow your doctors advice.
By all means avoid stories that touch.

You see, doctors monitor ladies having first children above 30 years (something about the pelvic bone) but you are 37 years, which makes it even more important that you are monitored seriously.

You waited nine years...nine good years, your interest should be holding your baby in your arms, how it happens is irrelevant at this point.

Waiting for your BS.. I'm sure it will stressless. Hugs...

No, there is no other reason dear. Just that it took us a long tym to conceive. That all.

but the midwife cut my yansh oo....mom and baby are doin great. meanwhile my edd na sept 20...God of sharp sharp brought him..entered labour room 10:30 came out 11:30..FTM.....B.S later...

u can continue breastfeeding if u can cope with the painful nipple and stress.

Thank you mommies o ooo. I had to check 3 times to be sure. I'm yet go to d hospital tho. I thought it was malaria at ist ooo, but no fever.

You can start by spacing out feeds from 3hrs between to 6 hours then to twice a day and then nothing. Your body will adjust well and there won't be engorgement
