I asked a question about 2015 price. No one seems to answer.
As far as I know, 2015 model is a good car, less fuel consumption, 10K km services, is a good choice for a first car.

Can someone please tell me about Mitsubishi Outlander 2003, what are the common problems? is it a good choice for a first car? in-terms of its maintenance and spear parts...

Good day folks. I own a 2004 nissan xterra. V6. I wish to upgrade to a 2008 or 2009. Will need some help on some questions.
1. Is it true that the issue for the xterra was fixed for 2008?
2. How can I know the difference between a 2007 and a 2008 xterra by mere looking at it?
3. Are the 2009 engine and suspension component that different? And are the price differences that much?
4. Is it also true that I can't install an in-dash dvd navigation system in the 2009?

*would prefer well maintained locally used xterra except the tokunbo price is mouth watering

I drove this for about 5/6 months.

1) Decidedly feminine vehicle
2) very good fuel consumption
3) drives well, balanced.
4) may look small but it can log serious shit.
5) back seat can be folded forward to create more cargo space.
6) Dashboard is boring
7) your window control button is almost certain to fry multiple times
cool the parts for 2003 is a tad scarce thus things like shock absorber cost as much as Shock absorbers of heavier SUBs
9) proper maintenance culture will obviously help lengthen it's life span.

Hello house! Hope we are good. Please I will be glad if I get suggestions/advice to the problem am experiencing with my car. It has been a week now that my corolla 2007 model suddenly started jerking after 3minutes of steaming, and may eventually go off once I am about to move. After being forced to move, it would become stabilised, once the engine is cool, the problem starts again.
3 different mechanic have come to check, nobody seems to know what the problem is. Did anyone experience this kind of car issue? Can u share wt me how you were able to overcome it. Thanks

Hi everyone. I'm in dire need of a solution. I have a C280 V6 that consumes fuel a lot. The fuel guage gets to 1 quarter then the car stops until fuel is topped meanibg anytime it stops there's always fuel in the tank. My mech advised that I change the Tank and Fuel Pump which I've done and that cost me more than 30k. Yet the problem persist. Please I need your advise and the way to go. Thank you in advance.

your mech is just greedy. The fuel pump pumps fuel that's its work end off, since yu got supply then your pump was good, your tank was not leaking so he should not have asked you to change it.my guess of your primary problem would be your fuel gauge or sending unit, its inside your tank, you can buy these separate without changing ur tank,I have done this B4 unless its built in with the pump.So try and change your fuel gauge in the first instance so you get accurate readings.
As for fuel consumption you will need to scan your car and we can see the narratives.
PS what year is your merc?

Since you confirm then u still have fuel in your tank anytime your car stops then I will advice you get this car diagnosed in with a professional who knows is onion than wasting money on part when u are not absolutely sure it the culprit.

Hi all,

I realised there is a need for us to have a thread where we can say it very loud. Hence, the creation of this room.

In this room, we can derail as much as we want, discuss off topics, etc.

But please, no derogatory words, sales, adverts, spams or posting. Other than these, fire on!

Hi Ikenna,

Let's take a break and talk a bit on insurance...

For many drivers, motor or auto insurance is more a pain than a benefit, with the pain partly being located in the high premiums they have to pay. But hey! There’s some good news; auto insurance protects you from personal liabilities should you be in an accident. What happens if you get hit by someone who doesn’t have insurance? If you do not have insurance either, chances are, that you will be faced with paying your own medical bills. Not cool! If you’re shown to be at fault in an accident, you may be required to pay for the repairs of the car that you hit. Fair enough, right? But not cool either, because this is money coming out from your pocket. Save yourself from uncertainties, from embarrassments, from unplanned expenditures…I bring to the table the good news about insuring your cars, buses, trucks with ENSURE INSURANCE PLC.

Should you really be punished for having your car stolen or damaged?

Why should you be paid less than you insured for when a claim arises?

How quickly would you like to get back on the road after an accident?

How about a premium refund of 15% of 2years cumulative?

How about a 15% discount for all women and exclusively for men at 45 and above?

How about a replacement of your vehicle or the cash equivalent?

That’s not all!

We will not penalize you for Depreciation. You will get paid the full value of your adjusted claim.

Should you get injured in an accident while in your car, we will assist you with the payment of hospital bills up to N500, 000, while the occupants in your car get a sum aggregate of N250, 000.

You need to know that:

We settle claims promptly;

You get 15% cash back on your premiums if you make no claims after 24 months;

Female drivers receive an additional 15% discount.

DON’T JUST INSURE, PLEASE ENSURE!!!
