– Niger Delta militant group in a fresh statement took responsibility for the recent attack on oil pipeline in Rivers state

– The militants threatened that they would continue the offence if their demands are not urgently met

The members of the Niger Delta Justice Defence Group,
One of the militant groups operating in the oil-rich region, Niger Delta Justice Defence Group (NDJDG) has explained why they launched the operation “Crocodile Tears.”

In a statement exclusively made available for NAIJ.com and signed by the general commander of the group, the militants threatened to continue their attacks until Muhammadu Buhari-led government would not begin to shed crocodile tears.

The group said: “We launched our Operation Crocodile Tears at exactly 10pm last night by blowing up oil pipelines/installations at Kporghor Community in Tai local government area of Rivers state.

“This is in continuation of our struggle against the Nigerian government led by the former military dictator Muhammadu Buhari for the continuous marginalisation of the Niger Delta people.

“It is true that the Nigerian economy is currently in recession, we shall continue our offensive against the federal government’s properties, oil installations until the Muhamadu Buhari led FG will begin to shed CROCODILE TEARS, if our demands are not urgently met.”

The militants earlier announced five demands to the administration of President Buhari.

The group asked to be allowed to control the oil output in the Niger Delta area and to celebrate activists who died during the struggle for better life for the oil-rich region among others.

The attacks are partially responsible for a decrease in Nigeria’s oil production of 800,000 barrels per day and the country’s recession.

You recalcitrant, jobless and myopic fools destroying our national assets, it's only a matter of time before the long arm of the military catches up with you.

Your forefathers have failed in this stupendous and aimless fight, you shall also fail in your bid to cause anarchy to the nation.

You should shine your eyes, Africa's richest man didn't amass his wealth from oil. Your oil will continue to blindfold you from the present day realities.

Negotiate and dialogue now..get those troops out of delta..

Sentiments is on the high side..men are not smiling..they solders posted there will tell you..
Forget burnstashi he is not on any situation..na story he d give you

Cos soon..even your brothers up north will blame you..
And those zombies urging you will either betray you..or you won't hear their voice

Is buhari the person telling them to blow pipelines?

How many Niger delta states have been able to pay salaries up to date?

The militants thought if they continue blowing the oil facilities, it wouldn't affect the Niger delta....it is we the masses that would shed more tears and not Buhari

Bubu should dialogue with them. They've made some demands..he should look at it and know au to deal this.
Using force and playing smart is not gonna help.
They accepted dialogue..only for bubu to send in troops..train them and position them..without considering them.

Bubu won't feel the pains..we will..
But we know how it will turn out for him.

[size=13pt]This country just take style dey scatter slow and steadily.

I remember as a Child when i asked my teacher why USA, RUSSIA are afraid of each other since they both have nuclear weapons? And my teacher said the wisdom is that you know you have the power to destroy but never had to use it. Because if you do, you too will be destroyed. As a child i never truly understood that statement but Buhari has finally made me to.

The question isn't if Nigeria army can beat the ND militants in a head on war, the issue is that out of hatred, Buhari has applied a military solution to a problem which sincere dialogue could have easily solved since the idigenes will look at the military power Nigeria is reluctant to use. But Buhari has now plunged Nigeria on the path of slow death by taking rash military action first before dialogue. So unless he can totally defeat the ND militants, the dialogue will not work....and he knows he cannot totally defeat the militants.. because they will not fight him directly, but will target his pocket through the oil installations.

The terrorist here is the Federal Government that has ripped the people of the Niger Delta of our God given resources since the days of John the Baptist.

Is Niger Delta the only region in Nigeria? Why practice a system of oppression and marginalization? No sensible or visionary government practices such barbaric and mundane system of Govt.

The truth is that protests and militancy will always arise as long as injustice prevails. What is wrong in True Federalism? Why is Nigeria against restructuring? Why is the FG clamping down on NDs who are into illegal refining but giving a free to the illegal miners of the north? Is one tribe above the other? Why should the Niger Delta alone carry the weight of the entire country?

The northerners whose only aim in life is to overpopulate the earth do not deserve a dime from the proceeds of crude oil from the ND and nor do any other parasitic region. Before you ask about 13% derivation or our greedy leaders, tell us what your leaders have done with the free allocations they've been receiving since 1901.

[size=13pt]Who is the President of Nigeria?

If you were going to work and run into a mob of rioters and they threaten to break your windscreen unless you gave them N50 naira because you were driving on their land, would you rather grand stand that you could fight them all or would you rather give them the peanuts they are asking and save yourself and your driver the trouble? That is what sound leadership is all about. You don't launch the nuclear codes just because someone you don't like annoyed you. The consequences of your silly action will catch up with you sooner or later.Even the oil companies would be wishing Nigeria had a better visionary and inclusive leader.

The militants are not doing what they are doing because the hate oil, they are doing it to be engaged by Buhari. Which Buhari flatly said he would not engage them, instead he is releasing murderous Boko Haram fighters in custody and launch military offensive in the Niger Delta. That is his worst mistake! What Nigeria will lose and the total cost of this conflict would be one million times greater than what could have been offered in negotiations and this conflict would be avoided.I don't expect you to agree because Nigerians are driven by hatred.

But by the end of his administration, we would count the cost and impact of that disasterous hateful action. In fact, what is happening now will continue to threaten oil production and unity of Nigeria for many many years after Buhari.
