I am not a fan of Tinubu but in my aspirations to see that this economic and social disaster called Buhari is not let back into Aso rock in 2019 ,I and any other well meaning Nigerian who believes in a free and prosperous Nigeria will have no choice than to rally around Asiwaju because he will be a vital factor on any equation that would out vote the wild herdsman from Daura and his deplorable followers.
the strategy is before Tinubu could realign a case of corruption would be on him. Do you think it was just a mere joke to withdraw forgery case against Saraki? Tinubu just has to pray hard

Obiano Has No Intention Of Leaving APGA

Our attention has been drawn to a publication on page 14 of Punch newspaper of 7th October 2016 titled – “APGA Crisis: Obiano May Join APC,” which alleged that the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano may dump the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The general public is hereby advised to disregard the report as it is totally false and does not have the slightest semblance of truth.

Governor Obiano remains a committed member of APGA whose loyalty to the party is unalloyed and whose passion for the growth and development of the party is beyond equivocation.

It is strange how a clique of internally displaced politicians has continued to circulate spurious and misleading information on a non-existent and sensational figment of their fevered imagination in order to sow confusion among the populace.

Despite the repeated rebuttal of this false report in the past, these vendors of untruth have continued to plant misleading information in the media about a false defection of Governor Obiano to one party today and another party tomorrow.

Nevertheless, we are not unaware that a major motive for the planting of these lies is to distract the governor from focusing on his job and consequently derail the steady and assured March of Anambra State to prosperity.

So, we shall continue to rebut their malignant lies and save the populace from their corrosive influence.

As the Leader and Chairman of BoT of APGA, Governor Obiano is fully aware of the weight and significance of his responsibility and will never waiver in his commitment to the party.

We therefore advise all mischief makers and authoritative speculators to desist from further efforts to create the impression that Governor Obiano has jumped political ship as it only creates doubts and credibility issues for such publications who are obviously diminished in the sight of discerning readers who would always recall that the report was misleading.

We also advise APGA faithful, Ndi Anambra and the general public to be mindful of any reports alleging that Governor Obiano has either decamped or is planning to decamp as it is nothing better than a false piece of irritating propaganda that should be ignored by responsible citizens.

Signed

James Eze

Tonye... Pls a lil correction.... Aminu kano was no fulani... But a pure breed hausa man trying to stop the fulani dominance....
Your points are well articulated... But the humiliation and insult from the yorubas to the other part of south was just too much to forget in a hurry... Especially to the igbos... The yorubas derive joy mocking the souls of over 1 million easterners who perished in the civil war... How do you align with yorubas who support the hausa and fulanis when ever there is crisis even when the hausas are at fault... How do you support those who always remind you that they have nothing in common with the easterners. Do you support those who will cut off their nose to spite their faces... How do you reconcile with those who though are not happy with the structure of nigeria but are only contented because their condition is better off than the easterners... How do you support those who even the thought of you provokes them... See the way they throw insults with no regards... Would praise an hausa man for same thing he wont praise an easterner... The pain has accumulated for long since the civil war when some igbo officers after visiting awolowo tried to take back the country from the same fulani element and make awo the president only to be starved to death... And give 20 pounds by same awo...
Barcanista... Some things are just not possible for now... It might be possible after restructuring when as a result of development index... Mutual respect is developed... But for now... Its going to be cat and dog... And pls remember ... The way nigeria is organised... The hausa man requires just the support of one of the major groups to clinch the presidency... So if yorubas are realigning and think the igbo votes are not relevant... Learn from what happened in 2015... All the buhari needed was just victory in the west irreapective of east or south south results... So in 2019... All the fulani man require is just victory in the east and he will be home with the trophy... Nice piece anyway.... But for yoruba leaders...
It isn't about the Fulani man, it is about the clique of cabal. Nobody's vote is irrelevant in politics, every region is.

abeg lif Mata for mathais. Why didn't you cry betrayal when we were battling the cabal who didn't want him to be sworn in, where were u when we went to the polls to vote him in the first time. For your information, the slogan then at the polling units across Yoruba land was 'for presidential election vote pdp , for others vote acn. Ask some old grandmas who went to vote, they will tell you that was what their sons told them to do. GEJ betrayed us that's fact and you are to blame too. If you were so concerned about southern unity, you would have taken steps to sort things out.

Nobody was consulted by Late Lugard, it doesn't mean that we surrender our future to a certain few.

Since Lugard consulted no one, it becomes very important to define who a Nigerian really is. There is no stake here, Nigeria is representative of nobody, we remain an enforced amalgamation of people, we have no fatherland, our unity is all about Oil and Nigeria is not a nation. We should start from the truth before we graduate to talking about our non existent unity.

You are confused and at same time rewriting history by trying to play devil's advocate.

Why should Tinubu's greed by rewarded?

When Tinubu scuttled Yorubas' interest by aligning with Northwest and Tambuwal to deprive Mukinat the Speakership of HOR thereby making it seems that PDP relegated Southwest to the background, what then was Tinubu's punishment?

Tinubu as a person is the major factor that contributed to the polarisation of southern Nigeria thereby giving the North the undue added advantage it brags about today, even Fulani herdsmen rob it on our faces without pity.

We are not fools, I am sad by the turnout of events and how CPC subtlety deceived ACN by cornering all the spoils of 2015 war.

The truth is that 2015 elections weren't a normal political process but a total political war that needed alliance to conquer and rule over the other better halves.

I advise you to stop inundating us with this useless tribalistic sermons on why we should all forget Tinubu's treachery and in turn make him a deity.

when you say cabal without the word fulani... You dont know nigeria cabals then....
No coup was ever conducted without the backings of the emirs who are all fulanis...
No president ever emerged without consultations with the emirs....
No political or military decision is taken without the emirs... So when you hear cabal...just know the input of non fulanis are minimal...
As for relevance of vote... You understands that no vote is inconsequential... But some people made mockery of the voting power of the easterners as irrelevant.

Tinubu supported Gej in 2011

What did he gained from it ?

Tinubu never supported GEJ but was rather paid off to relapse his southwest rigging mercenary and structures thereby allowing the people (southwesterns) to vote according to their different consciences but in the case of Buhari, he literally nurtured and sponsored "project Buhari" not minding his former reservations as articulated in wikileaks records on his fears on Buhari's presidency

Secondly, my earlier treatise doesn't bother on Tinubu as a person but his role and influence on regional politics. It shouldn't always be about what he (Tinubu) will gain as a person rather it should be about the common good of the Southwesterners on the streets of Abeokuta, Ijesha, Ogbomosho etc and at large the old southern protectorate.

NB: I must commend your civility on how you responded to my comment.

The carpetbaggers and political opportunists are falling all over themselves to opine and show empty, meaningless and crocodile tears and sympathy for Yoruba people and Tinubu.

To start with, Tinubu is a grown man with more than enough weight, capital and political cannon to fight his own battle like he's done many times over with many losers dead on the political battlefield..

Tinubu I'm 100% sure doesn't need cheap and opportunistic and meaningless rants and support from the likes of degenerates like Fayose and FFK the crack head with zero sense of loyalty or sense of belonging, a crass and crude political prostitute that sings odious and rancid tunes to the cheapest bidder.

These clowns and unfortunate Yoruba jokers care less about Yoruba people or Tinubu. Youruba land is not whole today because of the same crooked and corrupt characters with zero allegiance to Yoruba people or the future of Yoruba people, all they care about is looting and sharing and their own personal pockets hence under EFCC investigations.

Where were these sorry, crooked and corrupt Yoruba sons 16 years ago when Yoruba land was strangling under the looting, stealing and incompetent PDP?

Where were they when OBJ was rubbishing and punishing Lagosians and Yoruba people when Tinubu was the governor of Lagos state?

Where were they when Jona openly relegated Yoruba land to nothing? They were busy rigging elections in Yoruba land and looting and sharing Dasuki ATM money.

@ lame OP, please leave Yoruba people out of your mouth, it's insulting and nauseating that opportunists like your kind think it's open season to bore us with your lame and pathetic Yoruba sob stories..

When was the last time Tinubu went to battle seeking your lame and pathetic support.

Abeg keep quiet and save your cries for your banished and dying PDP on life support..

It's official ; Some Nigerians are the cause of their many problems. They're like the wind, driven to and fro, without direction. How can a person claim to be fighting against so called cabals and on the other hand be canvassing for support for a known father of cabals?

If the south should rally round Tinubu as many of these self seeking politicians are calling for, then we would have succeeded in making the man more powerful than he already is.

Nigerians should stop being fools to these politicians ; fools that can be used and dumped at every turn. Nuf said.
