Also. Ur budget should Hav naira equivalent to tally wit ur account cash inflow.
Pls try get new budget if possible. Must not be d same u'll use eventually. Just ensure ur account Has funds to match it. All d best.

dere5:

If peradventure you are called for an interview,i would advice you get a new doctor and hospital correspondence you should reflect the price quoted in your budget sheet , all the same i think you are in order with $7k assumption,,most people that apply for visa on this thread usually gets quotes in that neighbourhood . If the issue come up,tell them it's cash/selfpay package ,they can contact the doctor if they are in doub.

Since you have less than a week left before your departure i will strongly advice you pay Oakbend the $600 and use them, since it's not to far from Katy. And also find out from them if you can use the Methodist at Katy for delivery. You just have to make up your mind fast and make a move, time is not on your side o

All thanks to u dear, I think I would do just that.

I'm based in Lagos and heading to Katy Texas. I'll be using a birth center, which I've already contacted. Trust me, this is pure coincidence. I have only one moniker here.

Travelex didn't honour my friend's letter but she was able to get after much begging and involving someone that knows someone (plenty wahala).

They like i said earlier refuse to give her the dollars, they told her she would be given at the boarding gate...

Was this in Lagos or Abuja? Do they work 24hrs? If you go there early in the morning and your time for boarding is late in the night, will they still insist?

Like joke... Part 4 is already getting to page 400!

I hail you all oh... Gate-keepers, Newbies, "oldbies", class monitors, Iya-olojas and Baba-olojas, Onowus, Odionweres... all the "titled" men and women of the thread who have been passing us vital information patiently and painstakingly...

... May God bless your hustles, and mine too!

My missionary journey is winding down. So happy to be going back to the Fatherland... Jor let me go and face my main life and family...

Yankee nor sweet when you leave your "heart" (loved ones) back in NIgeria.

Hello girls I have been a silent reader since the first part of the Forum, I am from Mexico City and when I was looking in Google for Giving Birth in USA this forum came to me and now I am a follower of you girls. I feel very familiar to you girls because even we live in different continents we seem like very similar in Country, even I live next to USA there is a huge difference in economy, opportunities, and all those things I am sure you really know. So I am also looking for having my baby in USA, I am not yet pregnant but I am in the look for it and I pretend to be pregnant before the year ends, so that is why I want to start planning this. I hope you don't have any problem if I post my comments on this forum but believeme I haven't found another resource like this to have all the information I need to have for my plan of having my baby in USA.

My plan is to go to Doctores para ti at Ciudad Juarez, because it is clear with what they offer on its webpage, because it's the nearest place to me I could even go by car, the price is shown and I could have my budget clear without surprises. My concern now is that I haven't seen much coments about this hospital in the Forum, at first in the Part 1 I read many comments on this hospital but now I don't see much information.

Could some one help me to share her recent experience in this hospital? I will really appreaciate your comments on this and I am very glad to finally be part of this community in which I feel very identified. Apologize in advance per my spelling but my native language is spanish cheesy

Thanks a lot.

My sister we will be paying almost 3 times what we paid then. The good thing is we won't be buying somethings like breast pump, car seat, sterilizer, feeding units, blankets, cot, bouncer, play mat, toys etc.

Hahahaha those look like something we should be thankful for cheesy

I for one will be carrying my car seat along. My medela electric pump too dey gidigba! Everything now looks like an investment that turned out good cos i can't imagine myself buying a breast pump for $250 with this exchange rate. We give glory to God sha. It shall be well with our economy.

You are welcome. Glad to have you. Dresparati use to be very popular in the part 1& 2 of this thread, but i guess due to the distance & the discovery of other budget places most people don't go that far anymore, but you still find people goin there now and then

In Lagos. Yes because she went there around 9am with her boarding pass even though the flight was in the evening... they insisted that she would be given the dollars at the gate...

I used a different practice. North Atlanta Ob-gyn. Dr k. Godwin was my doc.
I showed all d tests I did and dey accepted it . Just dat HIV which dey said dey have to do in d thrid trimester and dat even if they dnt do it, Northside will and their bill may b higher. I just decided to kukuma do it dere. Wen I went to Northside on d day of delivery, I showed dem everything. Dey just made copies.

Paediatrician was Dr Athanasious. U can pm for his contact details make I no commit on d thread.

D refund na God ooo. I was misinformed about what constitutes hospital 2 days stay so I was doing everything to avoid staying longer . D fear of extra day bill was d beginning of wisdom. Turned out I didn't stay complete sef!

Pls which paediatrician did u use? Seems mine is more expensive, make i port. How come they accepted ur lab results from naija? Dr V Andrews said northside dosent accept results from outside d US and she is charging me $750.

buy lycamobile or download the boss revolution app for international calls and recharge using their recharge cards, although I heard now that they've increased their call tarrifs.
